  1. I think stage three and third foods are the same thing. You could go to a website that I love if you are interested in making your own. It is really simple, just takes a little time but then you know exactly what you are feeding them. The site is http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com. It also gives you tons of tips and knowledge on what they should be eating by age and what not to give them.

  2. They’re all pretty much the same in regards to stages. Stage 1 is more thinned out, more pureed, less in content. It’s the starters. Stage 2 is a mixture-some apples and pears, a tad thicker and more in a jar. Stage 3 can have bits of actual fruit or veggie in it. The pasta ones have pieces of pasta. It’s more for the infant who is good at mashing with their gums and can handle larger pieces of food-”finger foods”. 3rd foods in Gerber will be the same as stage 3 in Beech Nut though.

  3. Make it yourself, its cheaper, tastier and healthier. If you do it in bulk, you can freeze it.

I’m pretty sure they are the same thing.
From my doctor: Stage 1, 2, & 3 foods are all similar in texture, they are mostly pureed.

They are all the same…made up *stages* by the baby food companies. There is really no rhythm or reason why they have these stages.

  6. They would all be the same, I think they should all also say over 8 months.
