Question: What will happen to child’s Green Card if parent got deported?
My friend’s child got his green card 2 years ago. The parent (who is my friend) applied for naturalization and got convicted with fixed marriage and now on deportation process. What will happen to her child’s green card? Is the child will get deported with my friend too?

Unless she’s got another guardian and a lawyer, yes.

if the parents choose to not take the child the state will take over its care
But of course they will

The child came to the USA as a part of the “fixed marriage” so the child’s green card will also be canceled. You cannot profit from the crime of another.

I feel if the parents should pay any burden they have been on the Federal and State level such as WELFARE, HOSPITAL BIRTHING, EDUCATION and only after they pay or have whoever wishes to be a legal guardian promise to pay only then can this designated relief parent take responsibility if found competent and continue the process of Citizenship. I’m so tired of people taking advantage of our welfare state like they have some entitlement to our sovereignty. Otherwise the child goes with the blood parent/s.
The U.S. is suffering terribly economically and we must cut the fat out by dispensing with this previously ignored and hidden usury by people who only take!!

They need to get out of my country…where do people get off havg this entitlement?, the child stems from fraud/a lie therefore GET OUT!! Enter my country the correct way and believe in our way of life, freedom and constitution and THEN you can stay.

If she entered as a CR-2 immigrant, and the visa was issued based upon the arranged (fixed) marriage, then her green card would be considered the fruit of the fraud, and she’ll lose her status.
If she entered as a K-2, the green card was issued based upon the arranged (fixed) marriage, her green card would be considered the fruit of the fraud, and she’ll lose her status.
Ask her what kind of visa she was given. You don’t have the whole story. The parent didn’t apply “for naturalization” if they have only been in the U.S. for two years. Was there an actual “conviction” for something, or did the parent simply get caught in the lie?
