What do all you breastfeeding mums do when you go swimming?
Hi,my name is Anne,I did the following:
Question: What do all you breastfeeding mums do when you go swimming?
Do you just put you swimmers on and hop in? Have you ever leaked when in the water? Just want actual mums stories. Im sure there’s lots of you who have gone swimming while your still breastfeeding.

That’ll prevent any leaking.
It’s unlikely that you’d leak into the pool, especially if you used a breastpad or liner.

I just got in like regular.. the water washes it away when you leak.. and the water usually will trigger you to get milk.. it did me.. but the water washes it away before anyone notices it.. and if you feel the sensation that your about to get milk just start splashing around so no one will notice the somewhat cloudiness..lol..
*just make sure you wash your breasts good before feeding your baby.. pools are a dirty..**

I wore liners just like I did with bras. My boobs were full of milk all the time and leaked frequently until my daughter was 10 months old or so.
I agree with Dani! Perhaps people don’t like the idea of milk leaking into the water they swim in which is the reason for the thumbs down. LMAO

yeah you can leak (I know) but its really not noticable to anyone else, I would just ensure you dont swim around the time you usually feed your baby and it shouldnt be so bad.
some togs come with padded busts which I did go and buy a pair when I had my last baby.

I personally almost never have milk leaks, so no problem. Besides if you’re in water, noone will see anything if it happens. Also if you breasfeed your baby not long before, there’s no reason for the milk to leak.

I only leak in hot tubs, since the warm water gets me flowing. If I’m going for a swim, nothing happens. If DS needs to nurse, I just wipe any sand away or rinse the chlorine off and nurse.
*edit* Breast milk is sterile and not the same as pee or blood.

just go swimming and take shower gel so to wash off bath water baby will be fine and if old enough take baby 2
