Question–: What was/is you toddler’s menu for today?
I asked this question in the toddler and preschooler section but only had one person answer. So if you are feeding your baby/toddler “table food” what was/is their menu for today. Looking for new meal ideas. Recipes welcome. Thanks.

I have a picky toddler, that usually doesn’t agree with the menu I give her, so I always have a back up menu lol.
Breakfast- Cocoa pebbles, then a small bowl of fresh fruit, black berries and strawberries, small glass of milk.
Snack- short bread cookies and/or popcorn puffs.
Lunch- homemade fries and nuggets, glass of ice water.
Dinner- Rice pilaf with strips of chicken thighs, and cut up salad.
Snack- Cut up peaches and plums.

I have an 8.5 month old, so not on a lot but 3 meals a day.
B. 1 egg
L. Beans and 2 french fries
D. Rice, one small small pice a chicken breast, 1/2 banana.
About a 5oz bottle with B and L and water in a sippy cup at D. Then two more 6-8 oz bottles of formula a day.

5.5 month olds
lunch – beef, rice, banana (not mixed together)
dinner – chicken, barley, prunes, sweet potatoes (I mixed them together, they liked it, but it was one odd tasting combination!)
breastfed 5 times, two bottles.

They will be having toast or weetabix for breakfast, maybe an omelet for lunch and probably a (mild) curry for dinner. They haven’t had a curry in a while! lol
That’s without mentioning snacks in-between.

My toddler is SO picky.
For breakfast we had- blueberry waffles with yogurt.
Lunch- not sure but probably PB&J and a banana.
Dinner- we are going to a friend BBQ where he wont like what they are serving so we may bring him a corn dog (his fav) and he can also snack on the fruit platter at the BBQ(he loves all fruit)
He will have a few snacks throughout the day, probably fruit snacks or maybe animal crackers..

But the best baby lotion is plain old olive oil—cheap, natural, and un-perfumed. As for other products, keep it as natural, organic, and fragrance-free as possible.
toddler menu–: Can you suggest a toddler friendly party menu? For a backyard birthday party with no grill available?
Since my MIL is coming (and the woman enjoys stressing me out and interfering in party plans) I’d appreciate make ahead food ideas.
The event is my sons 1st birthday party and we’ll have at least 15 kids under the age of 5 (we have a big family).

pigs in a blanket, little pb and j sandwiches, fresh fruit (cut up), crackers like animal cracker or cheezits, popcicles, juice….anything your little one eats is fine to serve afterall it is his party!
Answer by princessleah
A variety of sandwiches, sausage rolls, mini pasties, fairy cakes, carrot sticks, cubes of cheese, marshmallows, cocktail sausages, strawberries, grapes and you’ve got to have some ice cream for dessert.
It might sound like there are a lot of sweet things here but parents tend to be a lot more lenient at parties and what’s a party without cake and ice cream?
Answer by Julia S
Sandwiches cut into triangles or squares (PB&J, tuna, butter and sugar, etc), fruit (washed and cut, please), cut-up veggies (carrots, celery, cucumber, maybe cherry tomatoes) and ranch, crackers, dry cereal, peanut butter balls, rice crispy treats, Oreos, cold cuts, sliced cheeses, maybe Jell-o jigglers.

I can totally relate. We did something similar for my little ones first bday and served pulled pork bbq for the grown ups and sandwiches *cut in the shape of butterflies which was our theme*, a watermelon centerpiece full of cut up fruit, cake and individual icecream, chips and cheese puffs. We served juice and soft drinks.. it was simple but everyone enjoyed it. Good luck with the MIL
