Here are a few ideas for you…..

Lunchbox ideas that require no refrigeration

Mozzarella string cheese sticks, oranges cut into wedges, whole wheat carrot muffins

Bagel spread with cream cheese (you may want to try the mini- bagels so as to avoid waste, sugar snap peas, box of raisins

Tortilla rolled up with a slice of mild cheese, fresh green beans, small tangerines (Clementines are so easy to peel that the kids can do it themselves)

Banana bread spread with peanut butter and a little honey, cucumber coins, melon cubes

Cream cheese and apple butter on whole grain bread, veggie mix (baby carrots, snap peas), dried apricots

1/2 pita stuffed with shredded carrot and mild cheese (or peanut butter), small individual cup of applesauce

How about using the following chart to mix and match from? Select one from each group.
Bread :

Pita (either the small individual size or half of a regular round)
muffin
quick bread (banana, pumpkin, apple, etc)
whole wheat bun
bagels
tortillas
raisin bread

Fillings:
peanut butter plain or with: (pick one) honey, banana, jelly, shredded carrot, raisin
cream cheese plain or with: (pick one), jelly, apple butter, mixed with shredded veggies
mild cheese
hummus

Veggies:
baby carrots or carrot sticks
fresh green beans
sugar snap peas
cucumber coins
crisp tender broccoli florettes sprinkled with non-salt seasoning
zucchini sticks

Fruits:
1/2 banana/child
small apples
orange wedges
raisins or other dried fruits
drained pineapple chunks (or fresh)
small applesauce container
melon cubes

Could you use one of those mini ice packs in her lunch? How about a small thermos so that she could take soups or stuff like that? If that is possible, I have a lot of ideas for that. Let me know.

Most toddlers need cooling down from time to time but refrideration is a bit extreme dont you think?

Just cut down on the cola.

  1. Try giving him mashed up fruits or maybe some applesauce and yogurt with pudding for dessert.

my baby has 4 teeth and I give her cut up green beans and vienna sausages and cut up banana’s.

  3. You’d actually be surprised how many things a toddler with few teeth can eat. My daughter got her teeth late, but when she just had two teeth she’d eat apples. She’s bite into them, then mostly suck the juice out and just take little bites. She ate cheese, crackers, toast, bagels, cheese, fruit, vegetables… he’ll learn to use those teeth. Just give him somethings he had so chew and he’ll figure it out.

Oh, peel things like apples and fruits with thick skins!
