I have tried sweet potato, apple, banana, swede & cauliflower. She loves the sweet potato, apple, and ok with the banana, but she doesn’t like the veggies so much! She is also not so keen on pure baby rice! Also, roughly how long after you start with solid food, should baby be eating 3 meals per day, I have been feeding solids at 2 meals per day for 2 weeks but I think she may need 3 meals per day, but I dont want ti give her too much too fast? She is 16 weeks old today?

My son is almost 7 months old and has two teeth. My friend said I could give him some baby finger foods the kind that dissolve but Im kinda scared about it. When did you start this

Should you go through all the 1st foods, before you start the 2nd foods? or can you mix them up?
And why should you wait a week before introducing a new food? What are the signs of allergies in a baby?

I am related to someone (not by blood) who dresses her toddler up in stuff like Tommy, Gap, Abercrombie, and expensive mall brands, ect. She is young — 20 yrs old. I believe that she doesn’t have the money to be spending it on expensive clothes. When they are babies– why give them brand names– i do know that when your a teenager you want the brand names so why not buy it for them when they are teens? Also, she shows it off like she is so proud of it like she is made of money. I know she is not. My daughter is still an infant and of course I have splurged on baby gear but not on clothes that will be drooled on and stained, also I have been given some used clothes too. Does anyone else here agree?

My baby will be 8 months on the 25th of June. He still likes his formula but doesn’t want to eat his gerber food anymore. He still doesn’t have any teeth. How many months was your baby when you started him/her on table foods?

And also how big was your baby? I bought a few newborn size clothes and also quite a few 0-3 month clothes, my MIL the other day was telling me that was dumb because if I have a big baby (which my doctor already confirmed I more then likely will) he wont even fit into the newborn size and probably wont fit into the 0-3, then she went onto say how her friends daughters had a big baby (9 pounds 9 ounces) didnt fit into anything except 6-9 month outfits since she was born, so now I am freaking out cause I am not sure if I still have the receipts and I’ve already started washing them. I only have like 3-4 newborn size, quite a few 0-3 month, quite a few 3-6 month sizes and hardly any 6-9 months yet. Is she right?

My baby is going to be 10 months in two weeks. We give her mushy solid foods, like mashed patatoes, etc. But when is she ready for foods like Cherios, and those disolving fruit puffs, stage three baby foods? She has her bottom teeth in and her top teeth are just starting to show. I’m afraid of her choking. Can baby gum or use her front teeth to chew? Please help!

My daughter is 4 months (5-June 27th) and my pediatrician told me that I can stat baby foods between now and 6 months. I have been feeding her rice since she was 3 months, and that has been going very well. I only feed her at night between 6-8pm.
How soon should I start baby food?
Should I first mix it with the rice?
How many times a day should I feed her baby food? Because I only give her rice once a day. Should I do it more than once?
Do i continue rice when I start baby food?

I want to go shopping for a few NB outfits which I am sure he won’t be in longer than a couple of weeks, but I am afraid I am going to overload on clothes he can’t wear because I’ll get too many. How long were your babies in each size?

I know that current recommendations are to hold off on egg whites until 1 year. I would like to increase the variety of foods that I feed my 8 month old, but a lot of what I make or see is made with egg. Meatloaf, pancakes, french toast, meatballs, potato and spinach cakes. These are all foods that would be perfect finger foods in small chunks, but I fear the egg factor. When did you start feeding your baby foods made with egg?
