I have a 2 story rat cage and two female rats. These are my first and I’m not sure if I have to many toys in the cage or if its fine. They have 3 houses 2 ladders a wheel and another small toy. They have a large wheel but they never use it or climb on it, it takes alot of room you think I should take it out or keep it.

Question: How do toy websites carry a full line of toys that are older, unopened, and the manufacturer no longer sells?

How is it possible for people to have a website that sells action figures and other toys to carry a full line of old ones too? If the manufacturer (such as Hasbro) stopped making them years ago, where are the companies getting the stock?

Question: What are some good toys for cats that they can play with without me having to manipulate them?

My bf and I have two cats (one is not quite an adult). We’re both full time college students and have lots of other activities going on so we’re not home much. I buy my cats tons of toys but a lot of them they won’t or can’t play with unless I am manipulating them. Aside from that toy where the ball rolls around in a circle (I have that), what are some toys the cats could play with and not need humans to help with? I try to play with them as much as I can, but a lot of times I just cuddle and pet them rather than play.

My cat is nearly 3 years old ( in November) and she gets lonely and bored alot of times when I’m busy and can’t play or pet her. She doesn’t like marbles or balls, she grew out of them, and I want to make her her own toy she could play with on her own and have fun. I can’t buy any toys because my parents won’t take me but I really want to make her something special so she won’t be bored and lonely.

But she’s afraid of almost everything so it can’t be that big.

Q&A: What are good toys for a hyper indoor cat?

My cat loves to play! She shreds up and tries to eat any toys with feathers, so I can’t use those anymore. I let her play with little jingly balls during the day, and she loves them so much, but they’re too noisy for night time. And she really loves to play at night. She doesn’t seem to care too much for catnip filled toys. Any suggestions for a quieter toy that she might like to play with at night?

Question: How do I get my kids to play with their toys?

If I have to estimate my kids have at least 300 toys. They have big bulky toys and they have small toys and a bunch of toys in between. I plan to do a garage sale to get rid of some. Will having less toys get them to play with the ones they already have?

I admit we did by them a back yard swimming pool today. They have a computer in their room, and a portable dvd player. My kids get new toys on a regular basis and then our neighbors old toys.

How did you get your child to play with their toys? They are 4 and 2 years of age.

Q&A: Good safe toys to leave in the crate to entertain the dogs while we are not home?

Keep in mind they are toy murders and the kongs barely hold up with them….the dogs are a toy poodle and a 20 pound terrier mix….so I’m looking for good entertaining toys they can enjoy for the hour or two they are alone and then also just safe toys in general that they might not destroy…

(they only seem to be able to handle tennis balls)

We can’t have anything plush or squeaky (they destroy those)
No ropes or anything stringy (they eat those)

We haven’t tried the black kongs….our poodle you put the kong in the cage with the treats (we can’t do peanut butter its forbidden in this house…I’m highly allergic to it) and he won’t touch it until we let him out….and our terrier mix just likes to destroy…but the only things she has any real interest in are her chew bones…she will quickly destroy most toys and go back to her bones if she doesn’t have a bone she gets destructive

Q&A: What is the best toys to get my baby for his first Christmas?

I want to get him a toy box for future toys and he won’t mind getting that instead of a toy. I just don’t know whats the best for toys. I get confused everytime we go to the toy department. The problem we have is that he’ll be 1 year old only a month later so its hard to get him 12 month toys for his first christmas and then older toys only a month later. At this point he usually likes the packaging more than whats in it.
