I need to stretch my dollar a little more these days and I have been getting him the “baby snacks” but they are so expensive for the little amounts they give you. What do you buy for your toddler for snacks? He is 13 almost 14 months old. Also how long did you continue to feed him the baby food jars? He has his front teeth but no back teeth and I am afraid to give him real solids since he wont really be chewing them with any teeth. Any tips or advice for this or what did you do?

Q&A–: What is on your grocery list for your toddler?
My daughter (almost three) is a very picky eater. I was interested in knowing what kinds of foods other mom’s put together for their toddlers meals. Our number one breakfast food is poptarts or cereal and our number one lunch food is mac and cheese or PB&J. (foods she’ll eat) We usually have trouble at supper time.
So my question is, what kinds of foods do you buy for your toddler. If there’s any simple and tasty recipes you can share with me that your kids love, I would be so appreciative! (mainly concerned for foods high in vitamins)

Q&A–: My 14 mos old will only drink toddler formula. Is that bad?
If I add the slightest amount of whole milk to the mix she refuses it. And she won’t drink powdered goats milk either. So I just continue with the toddler formula. But I’d like her to eat real food… not just jars (she won’t eat anything I make for her either, only organic jarred food) and powders.

Any ideas?

Question–: Allergic Reaction to Enfamil Toddler Formula?
My Daughter is 11, almost 11 months old and she is on cow milk, we got a sample of emfamil toddler formula, and i used it last night. she threw up 3 times last night (real vomit). anyone else experience this?

toddler food recipes–: Healthy foods for a toddler?
My son is 2 and has been quite picky lately at dinner. I need to get more veggies and meat into him. He will eat fruit all day if I let him and he doesn’t eat junk food. He just really REALLY likes carbs! He will eat his pasta or potato and bread and then not anything else.

Any foods/recipes that your toddler loves? I am primarily interested in meats and veggies but am also open to other ideas.

I am also going to try to give him his dinner plate with no carbs and see what he eats of that first and then give him a small portion of our starch a few minutes later. Has anyone else done this? Did it help?
