Question–: Did giving your baby cereal in their bottle make them sleep longer?
My son’s pediatrician told me today to give my son cereal in his bottle, due to the fact he has acid reflux, which makes him wake up and gag after eating. So I am just wondering did you baby sleep longer when you done this or was they still the same? The pediatrician said to put 1 teaspoon of rice cereal for every ounce he eats of formula. Right now he wakes up every 1 and a half to 4 hours to eat.

Question–: Should the sponsor stay and live in the US while parents are getting their green cards ?
Hello,

I am a US citizen but my parents are not(I had the citizenship after I was born in the US).

I am almost 20 years old living in the US, my parents are here too but they are under L1 and L2 visas( sponsorship, business visa ). When I’ll turn 21, my parents will be eligible for the green card(means they want to switch from visa to green card).. All their immigration requirements are met, the only problem, a few months after I turn 21, I will have to go to overseas because I want to work and live there.

Is it obligatory that the sponsor stays in the US untill his parents get the green card.

PS: Chances are I will come back to the US but after I have worked overseas for a few years.

I am a first time mom, and my son was born 5 weeks early due to preeclamsia. He is now a healthy 9 month old. I choose to be the best mom I can be, so one of the ways to go about doing this is to become educated about babies developments, and possible health issues. I read so much information, an although I have become educated in a lot of areas that I had been ignorant in, I feel like I have also become very fearful. My question to you is how do you find that balance between not being too fearful while at the same time leaning about all the signs of possible health issues? Every little strange thing my baby does, I think, oh that might be this, or oh that might be that, etc. I love my son to death, I couldn’t even stand the thought of something bad happening to him. My husband thinks I am paranoid, and sometimes I do agree with him. How do you find that balance? I want to enjoy my baby as much as possible. I don’t want to worry so much about him.

I just wanted to know because I don’t plan on doing so unless I cook them at home which isnt often that I do. I’ve read so much that its the most popular finger food for toddlers. My cousin is already stuffing her baby with them and she is only 10 months….whole pot pies and top ramen too.

Question–: Parents with picky toddlers, what are some of your tricks to sneak nutrition into their food?
I have put fruit and vegetables into my 2 year old’s pancakes, her multivitamin into her yogurt. I need some more ideas please?

Please don’t say “cut out cute shapes” because this does NOT work for her!
