Q&A–: How can I get my toddler to stop having tantrums during meals?
My toddler used to love all foods and not be a probelm during meals, but all of a sudden starting to have tantrums every time we sit down at the table…refuses to eat and kicks and screams. We’ve tried timeouts but he continues when we put him back at the table.

Will providing enough chewing toys to my pet rabbit stop it from chewing other important stuff?

10 October 2010

Hi,my name is Anne,I did the following:
Q&A: Will providing enough chewing toys to my pet rabbit stop it from chewing other important stuff?

I keep my rabbit in her cage most of the time. But I allow her to roam about in the house for about an hour each day. It is then that she chews electrical cords, books, cloths etc. If I keep chewing toys in her cage will she stop chewing other stuff when I allow her to come out?

How old do you have to be before your parents stop parenting you?

Do you find what you need? Look here!
Question: How old do you have to be before your parents stop parenting you?

I’ve heard of young adults who have parents and they are still “parenting” them, ordering them around and telling them what to do and the parents claim that they do it for their children’s own good and safety. I’d say they’re overprotective and maybe needs to have more kids if they want to keep controlling their kids. I’ve even seen a person who is almost 30 and his parents still order him around.

Toddler crying non stop in pre school?

13 August 2010

Anne edited the following
Question: Toddler crying non stop in pre school?

My toddler is 3 years old. She went to a family care from 8 months till a few weeks ago.

We put her in a bigger day care early January so she would get used to other kids in a bigger environment. She cried each day in the daycare and would not sleep. After lots of complaints from her preschool, we felt that it was not the right environment for her.

We found a smaller montessori with a much lower student teacher ratio and put her in for a half day programme. It has been one and half weeks in the new montessori. Her caregivers say that she is crying non stop and wants to go home. She is very adamant and won’t listen to them nor would participate in any activity.

Today I was told that unless my toddler stops crying within the next week, we will have to withdraw my toddler from the montessori.

When I ask my toddler why she cries in montessori, she says she is afraid.

How do I help her? Is she not ready for pre school yet? What should I do?

When Did Your Infant Or Toddler Stop…?

2 March 2010

growing? Lol My son has been wearing the same clothes since he was 11 months old! Possibly since 10 months but i know 11 for sure. He’s 17 months old now (18 on the 26th) and he’s still in size 24 months and some 18 months. Not that it’s a bad thing but him weighing the same and same clothes for that long, is that normal?

When Did You Stop Feeding Your Baby Jar Foods?

23 January 2010

At almost 9 months, my daughter is eating table foods along with jar foods. I was wondering when I can stop the jar foods. They help me to supplement in some fruits and veggies. My family doesn’t eat as healthy as we should so I buy baby foods that are healthy for my daughter. If I buy more fruits and veggies I can prepare, can I stop buying baby foods?
