Q&A–: Should a 17 month old still be eating baby food?
I work at a daycare and I have this one child and his grandmother is raising him. The child is 17 months old and a healthy weight. At daycare we tend to want to feed him foods that is soft enough for a 17 month old to eat. She keeps insisting that something is wrong with his stomach and that he can’t eat real food yet. I’ve never seen anything wrong with him, after eating table food. Do you think his grandmother is overreacting? She can’t even provide proof that the doctor said something is wrong.

backpack stroller–: Going on vacation/amusement parks. Kids 8,4, 21 mos. Is the backpack harness still thought of as bad parenting?
I want to purchase the harness that fits like a backpack for when we go to the amusement parks, so he is not stuck with always sitting in the stroller and has the freedom to roam but the peace of mind that he is near by without losing eye contact with my other 2. I have never used it before- any other moms say this is a good idea for this occasion?

food for one year old–: Does your one year old east baby food still and how much?
My one year old eats table food/finger food snacks and dinner. But his breakfast and lunch are still babyfood. He just doesn’t get enough food in his mouth with those little hands, it seems to me for him to get enough food, if I were to switch to table food only. I think he still needs the babyfood until he’s a better eater. What’s a general guidline for when babies/toddlers stop eating babyfood?

She was 6lbs 6 oz at birth, she is now 6 weeks and 0-3 mo. clothesdo not fit her they are tooooo big. She isnt that little and only newborn fits. When did your baby start 0-3?

my friend used to tell me that when she was pregnant, she would often read educational books and talk to her baby at the same time so she claims that it has a good effect on child’s memory.

Question–: Is it ok to feed 6 month old baby homemade (banana) baby food with the seeds still in it?
My daughter’s 6 months old & i just started making baby food with a foodmill. I read that you’re supposed to take the seeds out of foods b4 you give them to her. What about banana’s? It seems to me that it’s almost impossible to do so. Help. Any other advice would be helpful and much appreciated. Thanx.

Q&A–: My 7 month old drinks soy infant formula but still spits up every time he eats. Should I cut back on formula?
My 7 month old son drinks prosobee lipil soy infant formula but still spits up every time he eats it, he does not however spit up when he has rice cereal, cheerios, baby food, just the formula even if I do only give him little bits at a time. Should I cut back on the formula I give him and give him more baby food? please help this has been happening since he was born, I wash blankets, clothes, everything all the time from spit up
