Question–: what’s the toughest or weirdest question your toddler or preschooler has asked?
My son who is 3 has aked quite a few. Last night after he did number two in the toilet, he wiped and flushed, then he said “bye bye boo boo…mommy where does the booboo go?” I had to think about it for a while before I can answer because I had to break it down so that his little brain could comprehend.

literacy teacher|a question for elementary school principals or teachers about your school’s literacy program?

14 January 2012

!!Health tips :D on’t let your own anxiety affect your baby’s growing need for independence
Question–: a question for elementary school principals or teachers about your school’s literacy program?
Hello, I am taking a grad class concerning reading strategies for exceptional children. I need to interview a principal(or teacher) about their literacy program. I teach on the high school level and to be honest we don’t teach reading. Students should be reading by the time they reach us and those who don’t are usually in special education. So I wanted to get the view point from an elementary school perspective. If you could answer the following questions I would be much indebted to you.

1. How does your literacy program meet the needs of all students?

2. What components are in place for preventing reading and writing difficulty?

3. What support is there for intervening and accelerating the progress of students who struggle with reading and writing?

If you could give me you last name(I will use Mr/Ms “last name”)and the school and state or city where you locate it would be great.

Q&A–: Homemade baby food question…?
Ok, so I pretty much know the basics (wait at least 4 days between new foods, wash everything, you know, the “duh” things…) and I’ve read both www.wholesomebabyfood.com and “Super Baby Food” by Ruth Yaron (both of which I love!!) but reading about something and doing it are two completely different things! My son is going to be 6 months old in a week or so and I’m beginning to gather my wits and things that I need! What hints or tips can you give me that you’ve learned about on your own that you may have glossed over or that were not in anything that you’ve read? Any advice will be helpful and appreciated!

There‘s Mastercard & Visa. 。!!Reminded :It’s very easy to get sucked into the constant advertising of baby powders, creams, and lotions. But the best baby lotion is plain old olive oil—cheap, natural, and un-perfumed. As for other products, keep it as natural, organic, and fragrance-free as possible.

infant studies|Is male infant circumcision an appropriate gender studies question?

Welcome!,In the blog: healthy baby food or healthy food for children.
The following not about infant studies,But funnyA boaster and a liar are cousins-german.A stitch in time saves nine. Your mind is like this water, my friend, when it is agitated, it becomes difficult to see, but if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear..Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.。!!
infant studies–: Is male infant circumcision an appropriate gender studies question?
I believe it is. I think it should be broached with sensitivity, because it is a subject that can make parents who have allowed it to be done to feel guilt, grief and pain, but it should still be discussed. Male infant circumcision is injurious to the infant psychologically and physically, and to the mother infant bond, as well as lifelong sexuality.

toddler nutrition|Toddler, nutrition and belly question?

20 May 2011

!!Good advice :It’s very easy to get sucked into the constant advertising of baby powders, creams, and lotions. But the best baby lotion is plain old olive oil—cheap, natural, and un-perfumed. As for other products, keep it as natural, organic, and fragrance-free as possible.
Q&A–: Toddler, nutrition and belly question?
My 17 month old is a VERY picky eater. She was breast fed for the 1st year of her life, and now refuses cow’s milk, eggs, meat, and most every protein. We give her organic whole milk yogurt because it’s the only thing she’ll eat with dairy/protein. She also eats tons of fruit, and some veggies. I’m wondering though if you have any suggestions on how to get more dairy/meats/veggies into her? I’m concerned she is becoming mal-nutritioned as she seems to have normal/thin arms and legs, but a huge belly. My mother said it’s normal for toddlers to have a bigger belly, but I’d like to have some more insight from other mothers of young children. Thanks in advance for any help!

food allergies in babies–: i have a question about babies and food allergies?
IGave my daughter (11months) a banana and mango smoothie that I made myself. It just had apple juice some water bananas and mango and my wife said she broke out in some hives. I was shocked because she has had mango fruit snacks from Gerber and the some other stage two foods with mango with no allergies. We are moving towards table food and I am trying to make more of her food. I am basing her menu on the stuff she ate in the jars with no problems. My question is how can she be allergic to what I gave her when I know she has had it before with no problem? How can I be sure that she is not allergic to other things I will give her now or is a crap shoot?
