yes.. there is a slight difference..
the “month” sizes go according to weight…
so the more the child weighs the bigger the clothing.. you can have a 18 month old in 24 month clothing
2T is for toddlers ages 2-3 years old depending on their size…
they are also cut differently..
its the same as adult clothes… and shoes..
a child age 11 can fit into a size one jeans in juniors, and also a size 14-16 in children’s.. but the cut is different depending on the shape of the body…
also the “month” sizes are for babies… you wouldnt find a onsie in size 2T.

I buy my 8-month-old daughter clothes that is for 12-18 month old clothes because she’s 21 pounds and is 27 inches long. By the time she was 2 months, I brought her 3-6 month old clothes and by 4 months, 6-9 months. Washing Infants Dark Clothes With Light Colored Clothes?
I just got a lot of infant and newborn clothing and I need to wash them before my daughter can wear them. Here is my question. Can I wash the darks with the lights? even whites? So far everything is 100% cotton. I have a couple of item that are mixed though. So can I wash them together and not have to worry about the colors bleeding? I don’t have many darks, so I hate to have to wash just such a small load. plus the clothes are really cute, and I don’t want to ruin any of the lighter colored clothes. Any help would be great!
