Question–: Did giving your baby cereal in their bottle make them sleep longer?
My son’s pediatrician told me today to give my son cereal in his bottle, due to the fact he has acid reflux, which makes him wake up and gag after eating. So I am just wondering did you baby sleep longer when you done this or was they still the same? The pediatrician said to put 1 teaspoon of rice cereal for every ounce he eats of formula. Right now he wakes up every 1 and a half to 4 hours to eat.

Question–: How much baby food should I be giving my 5 month old?
My baby is 5 months old and I am already giving him cereal and introducing him to different kinds of baby foods per week. I was wondering how much baby food in the jar should a 5 month old be eating per day? I don’t want to over feed him so I like to know what is consder a good portion/amount for a 5 month old??? Thanks to anyone getting back to me.

i did food 1’st when i was just introducing it to him so he wud eat it wen he was hungry. so he wud b intrested in it.

My daughter is almost 3 1/2 months old and I notice that when I begin to eat in front of her she is epressing an interest in what I have on my plate. For example she begins to cry when she watches me eat. Sometimes depending on what Im eatting I’ll give her a bite. My physician tends to give my grandparents parenting tips. Such as “Taking away my TV and PC access”. She’s also always criticizing my grandparents parenting.

Should a doctor be doing that? She’s just my doctor. I think she’s getting overly comfy with my parents due to her knowing her for over 20 years.

！！Advice :Socialize your baby early with plenty of play dates, Gymboree or Mommy and Me. If you hate baby-related activities, take her out to lunch with other people once in awhile.

I am asking my dr. about it on Monday so, I won’t do it either way until then, but I’ve heard a lot of ppl say that at 5 months they started with the basic fruits. I am guessing this is baby food, of course… but is it supposed to be mixed in with the rice cereal or served seperately. How did your baby do when starting baby foods?

I just started my six month old on solids about three weeks ago. He’s still breastfed and has only really taken a liking to rice cereal at the moment (we’ve also tried banana and avocado). Currently, he’s only on one meal a day.
