I need to stretch my dollar a little more these days and I have been getting him the “baby snacks” but they are so expensive for the little amounts they give you. What do you buy for your toddler for snacks? He is 13 almost 14 months old. Also how long did you continue to feed him the baby food jars? He has his front teeth but no back teeth and I am afraid to give him real solids since he wont really be chewing them with any teeth. Any tips or advice for this or what did you do?

Question–: I want to be Early Childhood Education Major and attend a HBCU, someone give some insight?
I’m a high school senior and I have been researching schools like crazzzzzzy. I want to attend a HBCU and have narrowed down my choices to Clark Atlanta University (Atlanta, GA), Johnson C. Smith (Charleston, NC) and Elizabeth City State University (Elizabeth City, NC). I live in New Jersey so really anywhere I attend it will be far from home. Can any one give me some insight on these schools. What is like, how are the dorms, how are the people, do you regret attending there or would you choose them all over again. Please someone helpppppp

My son is 11/2 yrs old and does not eat rice at all. Its really frustrating for me to feed him. He neither eats biscuits or sweets. What fruits and vegetables boiled or raw) to be given to my child. Pls. guide me.

Q&A–: Do I need to give my baby formula after she eats all of her jarred baby food?
My daughter is a little chubby at 8 months old and I have been wondering if I have been feeding her too much. She will eat 8 oz. of formula every 5-6 hours. I give her finger foods for snacks between meals. I Then she will eat a jar of baby food then an 8 oz. bottle for lunch and dinner. Does she need that much formula after she eats baby food? I just dont know…

I have narrowed the choices down to 4 dresses, but I can’t make up my mind! My baby girl is 8 months old, weighs 14.5 lbs (in 3-6 month clothes) and has blue eyes and blonde hair that looks strawberry blonde in the sunlight. But the best baby lotion is plain old olive oil—cheap, natural, and un-perfumed. As for other products, keep it as natural, organic, and fragrance-free as possible.
Question–: Can i give my baby different baby food onces shes tried it?
I know your supposed to try each food for at least 3 days. But once I’ve done that can she have diffenret things in one day. Meaning fruit for breakfast and veggies for lunch and dinner?

Q&A–: Can you give an example of your 5 – 6 month old’s daily feeding schedule?
I’ve started cereal and I only feed him cereal at night. He is eating just 1 scoop, which is about a tablespoon before liquid is added. Here is what I’m doing now and want to know what others are giving their infants during the day. Right now we are doing this:

5:30am 6 oz formula
8:30am 6 oz formula
11:30 am 6 oz formula
2:30pm 6 oz formula
5:30pm 1 scoop rice cereal & 5 oz formula
8:30pm 8 oz formula

My doctor said to add veggies to his diet after he understands eating the cereal, but I don’t know when? He’s not a very good eater first thing in the morning, so I’m not sure about trying to add anything at his first feeding.

Help…and please no “you should wait blah, blah, blah” comments, I’m following my doctors lead to start and yes, I could ask him for a plan also, but thought I’d ask here to get some ideas.

feeding baby solids–: When feeding baby solids do i need to give fruits and veggies in same day or can i give one type in one day?
My son is 7 months old, I have given each type of veggie, now we are doing fruits. I am curious to see if I should give him a veggie w/ the fruit or just do fruit throughout the day. I just want to make sure he’s getting all the nutrients he needs. Same question for when we start meats, does he need all types of food in same day.

I’m getting worried because they never want to eat what I cook for them and all they want is yummy foods which I think aren’t healthy. I need help.
