My daughter is only giving my 7 month old grandbaby 14 oz of formula a day. She is eating baby foods, cereals, and juices, too…..but I think she still the nutrients in the formula for her bones and teeth. I obviously don’t know what the rules are these days.

My son seems to not want the bottle as much anymore – used to drink 8 oz at a time, now will drink only 5-6 on occasion, sometimes will finish an 8 oz bottle. When do babies typically begin dropping off the amount of formula drank? This is my first, so I am new to much of this …

When she was 4-6 months I had no problem getting her to eat baby food…then suddenly she had nothing to do with solids and juices. She refuses everything I offer her…even finger foods. She will spit the food out if you force it into her mouth. I need help or ideas and tips cause I have to have her off of this Formula in 1 month. I have tried almost every method possible…hopefully someone like me has dealt with this issue before…i am a first time mom! Thank You…I appreciate the help.

Babies know when they are done eating. Feed them a little bit of cereal and or food first. Then when they are done offer the bottle…they will drink till full. Do not force any food or milk on them. If they dont like a certain food then stop then try it in a few days. Hope this is helpful.

Please don’t respond if your going to say formula is bad. I tried to breastfeed for weeks but could not get milk.I have read other peoples questions and can’t believe how some peoples answers are so hurtful!
