Question–: i sew baby and toddler dresses. so far, i have been using quilting cotton but i find it to be a little too?
thick. i am looking for a lighter weight cotton but do not know what this might be called: poplin? lawn? calico? voile? does anyone know the best cotton for this purpose? i am looking for something lightweight but not sheer.

thanks, everyone! is cotton batiste very expensive? what about calico? i have noticed it is cheaper than quilting cotton. would this be OK for toddler’s dresses? i would like to pay no more than /yd. thanks for your help! sue

i have some clothes i got as gifts that my baby is too big for and i want to exchange them for bigger sizes. they still have tags. the brands are “sweet” and “cuddle bear”

jogging stroller with car seat–: Help me find the perfect Jogging Stroller!?
Ahh! The joys of finding the perfect stroller. I am looking for a jogging stroller that is a double as my son will be only 18 months old when the one I am pregs with is due. I also want one that has the real tires no the cheap plastic ones. A canopy and 5 point harness as my son likes to try and wiggle his way out. Now I like the jeep brand but if I can find something similar I will be happy. Oh one last thing I found some singles that accommodate a infant car seat/ carrier I would like a double that can accommodate one for the baby. Any idea? If possible at a decent price I know with all that I am asking it might get pricey but i already have a crib and changing table swing and all the extras so we will be spending the majority of our budget on a good car seat and jogging stroller as I need to shed all the baby weight as I have had 3 babies in the last 3 years yikes.Ha Ha an added note this is the last thank god to tubal ligation’s ha ha! i dont like to just put anything on my son just because he is a baby. He has to make a statement too but it seems all the best clothes are for girls
