Hi all just want some advice please my 17 month old baby boy refuses to eat anything but his baby food and milk. He will not swallow any variety of solid foods. He will chew it for a couple of minutes then spit it out. HELP PLEASE!

Relax. Just be patient with your baby. Introduce solid food gradually. Babies are born to grow. He will learn naturally that he needs to eat solid food. Don’t stress too much. The next day you’ll find out that he is swallowing any solid foods.

LOL i have the opposite problem an 11m old that doesn’t want baby food. depending on what your giving him he may just not like the texture try mushing it some and slowly start lessening the mushing

Bring it up with your pediatrician. It’s most likely nothing but at 17 months you might want to get it checked out. Plus your doctor will have some great tips for you I’m sure.

I have two kid 3 yrs daughter and 18 months son. You should try thin soilds like apple sauce mash potatoes. Then maybe mac and cheese my kids love mac and cheese. And most kid like chicken more than other meats. Try giving him and chicken nugget dip in some thing like ranch or honey mustard. My son loves it when I let him dip it.
