You can try those little cheese and crackers snacks my kids love those. My kids also like gogurts that way they can feed themselves without the big mess. I also like getting the multipack teddy grams my kids think those are fun and it taste different from anyother cookie. Try some of these somethimes I have to go looking for things new too because after a while they get bored with certain snacks. Good luck on finding something she likes.

I make my son a cheese crisp or a small cheese quesadilla type thing. just cheese melted inbetween two flour tortillas. He loves them.

Lunchables have this new thing called Lunchable Jrs, which are PERFECT! They have diced up meat and cheese, and some have yogurt, and others have teddy grahams or other small crackers. My kids LOVE those. Also, you can freeze grapes, and then cut them in half to avoid choking. My kids love all fruits, and bananas are hard to choke on at any age. They also love cantelope, which is soft and juicy for a young age. You can also try raisins, most kids love those (although my kids go through phases with those). My kids also love the mini marshmallows. I love to give my kids jell-o for something different. They like vanilla wafers, teddy grahams, there are also these little graham cracker sticks that my kids love. Also, try raw carrots. My daughter will dip them in ranch, and she thinks that is a GREAT snack. I enjoy looking for healthy snacks for my kids, and they don’t know the difference because I never even give them unhealthy as an option! Good luck!

its not exactly the healthiest choice but Kraft Dinner is a good choice. I say this because it introduces them to small pastas that they can’t exactly choke on if you’re helping them eat it. My boyfriends son only ate kraft dinner when he was 20 mo old. Now hes three and LOVES SPAGETTI!!!!!

Answer by Flimsy Orchid
-Jell-O
-BabyBel small round white cheese (they are full of calcium and taste much better than Kraft Singles)
-YoBaby Organic Yogurt (contains all the good bacteria, no extra sugar or colors like the Dora or Tricks yogurts)
-Whole Grain Cheerios in a little cup
-Whole Grain Goldfish
-Whole Grain Club crackers
-Fresh Blueberries, Strawberries, Pineapple, Mandarin Oranges, Watermelon
-Green beans (believe it or not!)
-Fat-Free Original Pringles

These are just things we happen to have in the house. She’ll eat other stuff too like White Cheddar Cheezits and crackers with peanut butter.

Question–: Halloween snacks for toddlers?
Does anyone have any ideas for safe treats toddlers can have on Halloween.
My primary concern is that the snacks not be too small so we can avoid any choking.

Fresh fruit or vegetables. Why start them on candy?

Answer by MissHazel
They have those Goldfish crackers in individual servings as well as graham crackers. Gerber makes little puff things made of fruit or vegetables – you could put those in a little cup for each of the kids. Those things are delicious! :)
P.S. Understand your concern about choking – I’m not sure Goldfish is all that safe – but the puffs dissolve in their mouths. I have always worried alot about choking hazards and I appreciate your concern. If you are having a party – the plastic little cups of pudding or jello might be fun for the little ones. If they are trick or treating – I think they get just excited about going door to door. When my son was 2 I took him out and he decided that he needed to give candy to the people at the door – I think he wanted to trade. He got so upset when they wouldn’t take his candy he started to cry and I had to carry him home! lol Good luck!

  1. My son is almost 2 yr. He loves: goldfish, goldfish pretzels, pretzels, Cheetoos (I blame my in-laws for that one), all sorts of cheese, Cherrios, rice crispies, rice cakes (plain, low salt), peanut butter, pudding, graham crackers, oreos (stole one from me once – but he only likes the white stuffing!), apples, pears (sometimes), raisins, craisins, yougurt covered raisins, bananas, water, milk.
