The following not about toddler menu, but classicFriendship is like earthenware: once broken, it can be mended; love is like a mirror: once broken, that ends it. (Josh Billings. American humorist)Books and friends should be few but good. Choose an author as you choose a friend..Empty vessels make the greatest sound.。!!Advice : Encourage your baby to allow herself to be held and interacted with by family, friends and neighbors.

That yellow tent in the foreground is our tent. This is taken from the access road, as we drove out of the site, at sunset… We decided to venture into Stinson Beach for some warm food after all.
Live Bass and Piano music welcomed us at the Sand Dollar Restaurant. A dancing toddler was admiring the bass, and we almost tripped on him as we entered. It was loud, and cheerful, like an Irish pub at Happy Hour. The boys were mesmerized by the music, at least long enough to put down their Nintendo DS games and enjoy the warm atmosphere. We ordered a hot dog and fries from their Kids’ Menu, and this was plenty for them to share(generous portions). I enjoyed the Fish and Chips (Cod) and a cup of coffee. Paintings inside were by Christin Coy, who I have just started taking classes with. Christin is a Marin Oil Painter of Landscapes, Sheep, Cows… Rural Marin at it’s best.
There is a gate at the top of Route 1 that is locked when you arrive at Steep Ravine. If you didn’t get the code in your email, you will need to call the number on the sign and ask for the code to get in. It is a 4 number code on the lock there. My son memorized it, and was soooo happy to open and shut the gate when we got there. After the dinner, everyone was tired, and the gate was in pitch blackness. From the parking spot at the bottom of the road, we all held hands together and walked down the path to our site, with our flashlights shining in all different directlons. My kids were scared of coyotes. We did see a couple of deer in our headlamps; they froze, and then ran on down the path away from us. The boys fell asleep quickly to an A-Z Mystery Book… something about a Mysterious X-Ray…. we will have to save that story for another night.
