are you just looking for more food ideas? try grilled cheese, or sliced meat and cheese, sliced bananas and peanut butter. she needs protein to help her stay healthy and active. my son is the same way. just snacks all day long.
Answer by divalady
i would just give it to her not force her to eat more than she wants to but give her more food more often in the day,and make sure she eats it,,
Answer by Nat W
Don’t stress too much, toddlers like to graze.
Try introducing a variety of small amounts of food on plates throughout the day. Try different sandwiches, cheese sticks, cruskits, toast, soup, salads, meats, pretty much anything toddler friendly.
Well done for having a healthy start!! I know waaaaay too many toddlers who live on McNuggets…so any parent who has a fruit a holic I give Hi5’s to!!

My son is on a cottage cheese kick now so I have been mixing it in with it finely chopped veggies since he hates veggies. I have also tried that with yogurt. He loves fruit too and that’s fine with me. He recently started liking raisins. He loves cheese, muffins, toast, pancakes, waffles, cereal. It is hard to come up with ideas but go to wholesometoddlerfood.com I think it is. I just found that site last week and it has some great suggestions as I am TRYING to be more creative with Mr Picky.

!!Good advice :Socialize your baby early with plenty of play dates, Gymboree or Mommy and Me. If you hate baby-related activities, take her out to lunch with other people once in awhile.

I’ve been doing the same thing for 2 years! I pack a sandwich every day (lunchmeat, PB&J, tuna salad, chicken salad, etc), then she gets a few of the following snacks:
Veggies:
carrot sticks & ranch
celery sticks & peanut butter
canned grean beans or carrots (she actually eats them!)
Fruit:
Fresh fruit when possible (plums, bananas, apples, peaches, grapes)
canned fruit cups
Dairy:
Go-gurt (yogurt in a plastic sleeve)
cheese sticks
Other:
dry cheerios
raisins
dried fruit (cranberries, cherries, etc)
granola bars
a little cup of salad
applesauce
I have small freezer packs that I put in her lunch box to keep things cool.
I always pack milk in a thermos, and when she finishes her milk they give her water.

These are the kind of things I put in my son’s lunch so he’s not getting the same stuff every day.
Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhich
Cold Meat Sandwhich
Cheese and Crackers
Potato Chips
String Cheese
Pudding Cup
Strawberries
Blue Berries
Sliced apple
sliced peach
Bananna
Quartered Orange (I peel it first)
Cookie
Brownie
Gold Fish Crackers
Ritz Crackers
Cheez-Its
Juice Packet..
Or I’ll put cool-aid in a sippy cup
One person put Grilled Cheese on their list, but by the time a child gets to eat that it will cold and hard…yuck.
My sons daycare has a microwave so sometimes I’ll send a hotdog or a leftover piece of pizza.
