you should def wash them first; you don’t know where those clothes have been

always wash them since they come from the factories. You don’t know how they were handled or who they were handled by before hand and someone in the shop could have come by and have touched them and never know where their hands were previous.

all the best

I wash everything before I give it to or put it on my son. Clothes touch many hands before they end up on the store racks. Once their on the racks they fall on the floor and people sneeze and cough through the isles. I would rather be safe then sorry.

I have always washed baby clothes prior to baby wearing them,Some stores & factories still use a starch mist on their clothing,Plus if they are from a store,,umpteen people have picked them up to look at them etc..it just seems ‘right’ to wash them..especially for a newborn!.

I always like to wash them with the gorgeous scenty baby-friendly wash powder & softener for that gorgeous ‘new baby’ smell too lol!!

always wash that way you know the clothing is clean. just because it comes in a package doesn’t mean it’s cleaner than the outfits that come on a hanger.

Answer by Hayley H

I washed all of mine with Dreft. It made me feel better because I’m a first time paranoid mom…although I’m learning babies are stronger than we think…but I still suggest to wash them first :)
