Q&A: jogging stroller with car seat|Does a Baby Trend car seat fit in the BOB jogging stroller infant car seat adapter?
!!Advice :It’s very easy to get sucked into the constant advertising of baby powders, creams, and lotions. But the best baby lotion is plain old olive oil—cheap, natural, and un-perfumed. As for other products, keep it as natural, organic, and fragrance-free as possible.
Question–: Does a Baby Trend car seat fit in the BOB jogging stroller infant car seat adapter?
I bought a Baby Trend car seat and we just purchased a BOB revolution jogging stroller. I am going to buy the infant car seat adapter so we can put the car seat in the stroller. I’ve heard that some car seats do not work well with this adapter. Should we buy a different car seat?

In the case of most manufactured cars in recent times, they all commonly have integrated an anchor point behind the rear seat which a child restraint can be attached to. This brings to mind another important note as to the installation of your baby restraint and capsule in that they should always be fitted in the rear seat of the car, and must be avoided being integrated at a front seat. Again, in the event you in any way unsure about how to fit your child restraint, have any queries, questions or are in need of supplementary information in regards to specific fittings, or perhaps request that the current installation of your restraint be professionally checked, we advise you contact your local motoring authority for details of approved fitters. Also, many motoring organizations and some safety bodies, such as Kidsafe and Australian Red Cross will also check or fit seats, a small charge may be incurred however for the service provided.

Q&A–: Can you jog with a newborn in a car seat attached to a jogging stroller?
I know that babies are not supposed to be placed in joggers until they are around six months old. However, my jogging stroller is a travel system and has an carrier infant car seat that can be attached to the jogging stroller very securely. So, can I run with the baby in the car seat or is this really only supposed to be utilized if I am walking with the stroller?
The following is the answer: (Hint: The answer is not necessarily.)
Answer by Olivia is one year old!!
You shouldn’t run with a newborn, period.
However, you do not need to wait until 6 months. We own both a Baby Jogger and a Chariot and ran with our kids from about 3-4 months onward. In the Chariot, we had a bivvy sac where the baby lies totally flat. In the jogger, the baby sits more upright but we bought a head support called a snuzzler by Kidopotamus.
You should only walk with baby until they can hold their head up well without support.

Yes, you can run if the seat securely attaches to the jogger. Just make sure you have it locked in according to the directions and make sure your infant is buckled up before running (And use a head stabilizer). Also, use the little leash they give you that attached to the jogger when you run.
*We’re talking about jogging, not relay sprinting, folks. Children jostle more in a car driving at 25 mph than in a secured infant carrier on a track. Light jogging after 6 weeks on an indoor track is quite safe.

No–you should never run with a newborn. First, your body is not healed enough to go running. Second, your baby’s head is not stable enough for the jarring motions, no matter how “great” your jogging stroller is–even with a head stabilizer. The baby’s head can still move forward and back. I’d be curious to know how the other poster kept that from happening without taping their baby’s head down. No running until your baby has head and neck control consistently. You don’t want to be held responsible for accidentally internally decapitating your baby because you wanted to go for a jog–hire a babysitter.
