I would do a quick rinse for peace of mind, but I do know chlorine breaks down over time:

“Clorox® Regular-Bleach is proven to be versatile as a disinfectant and a powerful cleaner in your home. In fact, it’s so powerful that it is often perceived that bleach is harmful for the environment. But the fact is that bleach starts as salt and water and ends as salt and water. The end product contains no free chlorine, and it quickly breaks down into essentially salt and water during or after use.”

If you are using a very dilute solution (1:30 is the recommeded ratio I believe) then you do not have to rinse, just let them dry.

If you are having second thoughts about using chemicals that might be harmful to your child, vinegar, borax and hydrogen peroxide products are all considered alternatives to bleach that shouldn’t be as nasty to your health.
