Tell them the truth but in a way they would understand like say if you had bad acne tell them that the spot fairy came and planted seeds in you that grows the spots… i don’t know just something childish and silly hat they will get for the time being

Answer by Seeking God
Tell him/ her the truth, they are just curious.

toddlers are very inquizitive! If i feel like im about to cry n trying to hold it in infront of my daughter and she asks whats wrong i just tell her mummy is upset…
If its them being cheeky (which i havent experienced) then i would explain that you do not talk to other people that way as its not nice…
It all depends what way you are meaning your question what the answer would be tbh.

That would depend on what is wrong with your face.

Seriously, if you have a facial deformity of some sort, I would just say that sometimes people are born with faces that aren’t the same shape as other people’s, and you are one of them. I’d also reassure them that it doesn’t hurt.

Toddlers are curious, and not very tactful.

Just explain whatever it is the child is referring to in the friendliest way and just let it go….they’re just children who dont know better.
