Rice Crispy Treats are fun and easy!!!
Baking cookies are simple just get some cookie dough!
A smoothie or milkshake???
Brownies
Chocolate covered pretzels (Did that in Home Ec once) another easy food all you need is some chocolate chips which you melt and some pretzels. To make it more fun for them have some sprinkles for them to sprinkle over the chocolate covered pretzels.
Try baking a cake and then you guys can decorate it with different frostings. Same with cupcakes too.

only things that come to mind is pizza because its easy for kids to make just get some refrigerated dough, cheese, sauce, and toppings like green pepper pepperoni, sausage and let them make designs on the pizza and then you can pop it in the oven, dirt pudding cups where they make choc pudding crumble oreos on top to look like dirt and stick in some gummy worms, trail mix where you can have things like peanuts popcorn, cheese crackers, teddy grahams, dried fruit, marshmallows or anything really and have them mix up what they like and have a movie night

All my kids love this one even the boys. The ones old enough to anyway. The range in ages of 5 to 11 years old.
In order to make edible play dough you will need:
1 Cup of Salt
1 Cup of Flour
1 Cup of Water
Food Coloring (optional)
A Deep, Unbreakable Bowl
A Wooden Spoon
A Rolling Pin
Cookie Cutters
An Old Shirt (so your child can get dirty)
Once you gather these items together, here is what you will need to do:
1.Have your child use a wooden spoon, or their hands, to mix the salt and flour together in a your bowl.
2.If you are making colored play dough, now is the time to add a few drops of food coloring to the water that you will need to slowly add to the other ingredients.
3.Knead all 3 ingredients together until they form a smooth, elastic consistency. Be careful not to do this too much or else you will have nothing more than a sticky mess.
4.Place some flour onto a flat surface and then lay the play dough on top of this.
5.Use your rolling pin to roll the play dough out flat.
Now that the play dough is made and your child is ready to begin playing with it, you may wish to give your child things like cookie cutters, plastic knives, plastic bottle caps, lids, chopsticks and different shaped items to use in their play. You will want to make sure that these items are safe for them though. No matter what you choose to allow your child to use to play with their play dough with, you now have a great educational aide to use with them. You should be able to find many different things that you can do here.
It is also a good idea to supervise your child whenever they are playing with this play dough. While it is completely safe and edible, you will still want to use caution. After all, play dough can be very messy and so you may wish to keep it contained if nothing else. Regardless of anything else, make sure that both you and your child have fun playing with this play dough together.
Sorry mine isn’t exactly “food” but with a 2 year old thought I would give something that she could do without hurting herself.

Rice Crispy treats. If you spray cookie cutters with pam they can make all sorts of shapes, get some icing( put in a baggie and cut a small hole in one corner) they can decorate them with candy. If you do make them, spray everythig with the pam, the bowl, spoons, the pot you cook the marshmellows in, so nothing sticks, much easier to clean up.
cookies in the shape of their hands. trace their hands, cut out and use that to cut out the cookie dough, they can decorate them, smiley faces on the fingers(use the baggie of icing) make turkeys(we did that at thanksgiving)
Make your own personal pizza. get the dough and cut it into smaller servings so everyone can make their pizza. or use englilsh muffins, or french bread.

My daughters both love making different shaped sandwhiches using cookie cutters. We make the sandwhiches with all their favourite fillings then use the cookie cutters to cut out different shapes. The kids love it. We also do them in numbers and letters.

My son is almost three and a very picky eater, especially when it comes to fruit and veges. The other day we came up with one together. “Boats”
We used apple cut into wedges, then we I cut a wee hole in the middle of the apple and we put carrot sticks in, then threaded slices of cheese over the carrot to make the sail. Hopefully you can picture this because my description isn’t very good! You could do this with bits of orange also. Or and you could use a toothpick as the mast if your daughter wouldn’t prick herself on it. You can make all sorts of things like this, using different fruits, veges etc. My son loved them and ate them all up.
Another good one is hedgehogs. Mash some potato (my son loves helping with this!) shape it on a plate into a sort of hedgehog body shape them use a fork to make little pricks in the potato that look like spikes then use peas as eyes, corn for a nose that sort of thing!
Have fun!!!
Oh…and when all else fails, gingerbread people are always fun to make and decorate if you’re happy to clean up a sticky mess!

making cookies is always fun, let her help you mix it. My son likes it when we cut his sandwiches into triangles, helps him learn to. Cookie cutters are great. Try some pancakes with some fruit and make happy faces.

Taco’s (same as above)
Gingerbread men are great for kids to make. Mine love to make them
Play-do with no colouring. Once made and still warm divide it up into 4 and add a couple of drops of different colours to each ball and let them knead them in. Then she can play with it

I make our own pizza pita pockets. My son loves helping do that, Also he helps me make “pig ina blanket.” Which is a precooked hot dog rolled in a tortilla wrap with some of his favourite cheese. And browned in a warm frying pan until the cheese is melted and its a little crispy. Also you can make different shaped rice crispie treats, We have made snakes and trees. The only thing with this is you are kind of limited bc you have to work fast. And you can’t beat making a simple cake or cookie recipe,

When my stepson was 4 years old, we started doing things like making cookies from scratch. I would measure out all of the ingredients and he would get to put them in the bowl and help hold the hand mixer while we mixed the dough. It was easy enough for him to do and really made him feel like he was helping. He would help put the dough on the pan and then I would handle everything with the oven. He even learned early how to crack an egg without getting shells in the dough lol
Another thing you could try with her is doing something like sugar cookies. She’ll love getting to roll out the dough and use the cookie cutters to make different shaped cookies (and then eating them afterwards! lol).
