it wont harm the baby in any way at all.

Answer by Lauren M
They say not too, but I did. But at 2 your son shouldn’t still be using bottles or needing his milk warmed…

Answer by Yoki
theres no law against it it will not harm your child or anything

Answer by ryleah2005
As long as the bottles you are using are BPA free. Or, so I am told. Apparently, the chemical leeches off the plastic when the fluid is warmed, so…

You could research it, google ‘Baby bottle recall’.

Good luck!

Also, there is nothing wrong with a 2 year old having a bottle. My daughter is 3, and my Pediatrician daughter was 4 when the bottle got ‘retired’. It is good for them to have a ’security blanket’. Will not harm him at all!!!

If you warm up a baby’s bottle in the microwave, it does ruin a lot of the vitamins and nutrients in the milk. I would advise putting the bottle in a cup and running hot water in the cup while the bottle of milk floats in the cup.

Answer by Amanda!!
You can do it, although there is now all this hype about BPA-free plastic etc. Apparently dangerous chemicals can flow from the plastic bottle into the babies milk, especially if being heated. I hadnt heard of it when I had my daughter and she is fine, but I will admit I have gone out and bought all glass bottles for our new addition

Answer by KloesMom
I’ve personally heard that you shouldn’t warm bottles in the microwave because it may not heat evenly…but as far as health concerns go, I’ve haven’t heard of any warnings.

warming a bottle can create hot spots in the bottle…..you can continue if you want to …we warmed my nieces bottles up until she was off off them when she turned one and shes fine…

there is quite a lot of research on the safety of microwaves. Too much to mention here, but you might want to do a search on microwave safety. It’s pretty scary even if just a small part of it’s true–regarding cancer and health issues.

Answer by Char K
they say not to because of the plastic and chemicals being released from the heat. your baby boy needs a sippy cup or real cup at 2. he’s a big boy now.

Answer by kerry l
i did the fruit and some desserts

Answer by Ryan’s mom
I only warmed it up if it had been in the fridge or I was giving him the homemade stuff I had in the freezer.

Answer by lisa_bsb
When we first started baby food we served it room temp. Once he started eating mushed up stuff from my plate I started heating his stuff. He only ate baby food from about 5 months to about 9 months when he started eating just regular food.

Answer by luvinlife
I never warm my son’s food up unless I’ve refrigerated a partial jar – and then i just heat it enough to take the chill off

Answer by •♥ηic☮ℓë♥•
if your baby gets used to eating warmed baby food, you’ll never be able to just grab a jar out of his diaper bag and feed it to him on the go. if it’s been in the fridge definitely warm it up, but it’ll be better for you in the long run if he is used to eating room temp. baby food. :)

Answer by luvtadance12
For bananas, carrots, peas etc., those are fine served room temp. For dinner type things and anything containing meat, that should be heated up a tiny bit.

Answer by Linda R
The only time I warmed jarred baby food up was when I first began feeding my kids and I had only fed the kid half of the food after removing if from the refrigerator. After 6-months of age…..room temperature is fine because the child will be eating full jars of food by this time.
