   Hi am the grandmother of 2 preemies, one was a micro and the other was 5.5 lbs. Nothing from the store fit him, not even the stuff that said preemie. He just swam in it.
   He was the most recent and if you want at least a few things that will fit, got to avababys.com They specialize in nothing but small preemies.
   You will find a very large selection of really cute little things that will fit perfectly and they are affordable.

   I had a preemie born at 2 lbs. The hospital supplied clothing while in the nicu. It always fit way too big. However, I bought some preemie clothes for when he came home, but it was really a waste of time. Once they get to be 4 or 5 lbs, they grow very quickly. He outgrow most of the preemie stuff 2 or 3 weeks after he came home. I would buy it bigger. Congrats!

   it sounds weird but walmart has very nice premie clothing
   and they are not expensive

   walmart and target have preemie clothing- i had to get a couple of outfits for my son when he was born- he wasnt 4 poundsd his loweest wieght was 5.13 but he was 4 weeks early

   hi, size 0 clothes wont fit a 4 pound baby. you need size 00000 or 000000. i know this because i just had my little baby boy and he weighed 5 pound 13 oz and he was in size 000000 and is a month old now and still wearing 00000. there is this website you can go to which sells premmie baby things online. i hope this helps you out a little. good luck and congrats.

   Try babies r us they sell premie clothes. If you don’t have one by you you can order online.

   We had a preemie too. The things we used the most were onsies and side snap shirts. We didn’t really dress him in clothes much until he was a few months old.

   CONGRATULATIONS!!! They have premie clothing at Babies R Us, and Carters outlets, and Once Upon A Child. The later is a discount once used children’s clothes with select brand new things. I have noticed that they have premie outfits, that are brand new and really cheep.
   IMO Old Navy is expensive for babies clothing and I wouldn’t waste my money since your little one will grow extremely quickly..even if it dosn’t see like it at the moment.

    Hi, Congrats…0 months probably will NOT fit the baby. My son weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. when he was born and he had to wear preemie clothes the first couple days. Try EBay. They have tons of baby clothes and usually really great prices also…

    Walmart has a good selection of preemie clothing! And it is inexpensive.

    Buy Old Navy newborn and it will fit shortly b/c Old Navy runs small. Be sure to buy NEWBORN, not 0-3 Months.
