Question–: My daughter just turned 3 months on August 3rd.. at what age do you start feeding them baby food?
I have heard 3 months all the way to 6 months… so what month did you start feeding your babies baby food?

it really depends on your baby. Talk to your doctor. My son was hungry and I was told to start him at 4 months. I think the average is 6 months.

6 months when they start to show interest when your eating (dont give it to them, only baby food)

i started my daughter on rice cereal at 3 months because she was the size of a six month old. but normally they say not to start them until right around 6 months. talk to your doctor and see what they think.

At 6 months you start rice cereal, then slowly add baby foods. It is not recommended to start before 6 months, because it increases allergies and obesity.

Not until after you start your baby on cereal at 4 months and she does well with it for a month or two. They around 5 or 6 months you can start her on yellow baby foods. Introducing only one new food a week to make sure she does not have any allergies.

a lot of people are going to tell you different things, the best bet is to talk to your pediatrician. i started my son on cereal at 4 months. but they technically dont NEED it untill 6 months, but i think that its good to start with a little ceral around 4 or five monts because eating from a spoon and having solids takes practice so once they need it they are ready to eat!

the new standard is 6 months
my mom didnt feed me solids til I was 8 months (might be why Ive always had a fast metabolism) I lived on her breastmilk til then
i’d say the longer you wait, the better. 6 months is actuallyl the new minimum. somebody else already said this, but feeding too early can increase their chances of being overweight later as well as food allergies and intestinal problems.

I started my daughter on cereal at 4 and 1/2 months, she just started a few days ago so I haven’t went beyond that yet. She will probably start vegetables at around 5 or 5 and 1/2 months. It really depends on the baby, some are ready earlier than others. I would ask your doctor at your next visit.
