Companies coming cook books are all good ,they have one just for kids 12 to 15 dollars each,The soup and sandwich and the cookies book are my favorite easy to follow

I got this when I first started cooking a few years ago, and it taught me priceless knowledge. I got better at cooking, so I gave it to my brother, who, even though he’s 3 years older than me, is most definitely Clueless, haha. But he sings praises about this book, too, so I think its great.

Williams Sonoma has a great kids series. I love their adult cookbooks and they adapt the recipes to make them simpler for kids. Fun Food and Family Meals are the best of the bunch.

I got my daughter (12 yrs last year) a kids cookbook 4 x-mas last year, but she thought it was too easy… She wanted to try some newer and somewhat harder recipes. Besides, most kids cookbooks have lots of deserts, and she doesn’t like to cook just deserts…. So, if I were you, I wouldn’t get a kid’s cookbook, unless he is a (no offense) not so mature 12 yr old (in cooking, like cooking skills of 8-10 yr old…?) Hope he likes it!
