Is There A Place To Find Clothes For Baby Niece In Leg Brace?
23 December 2009
My niece was born this past Monday and was diagnosed with having been born with a dislocated hip. She will have to be in a leg brace for a couple of months. Does anyone know if there is a place that sells specialized clothes for infants that will not be able to wear regular baby clothes? I would be very grateful for any help that anyone can give. Thanks in advance.
I don’t know of any specialized clothing, but sleep sacks may be a good option, or sleep gowns too. They’re not expensive, and can be used even after she your niece heals.
Congratulations on your newest family member, and I hope she heals quickly and well!!!
the leg brace shouldn’t be a perminent they are usually a velcro deal that just holds the legs in a certain position no special cloths are required my friend had a baby that had to be in one of those hers was pink it was just for a few months she’s as good as new now : )
well i am likely going to be in a similar situation when my twins are born but i was just planning to keep her in dresses, i figure if they go over her head and aren’t wrapped around her leg then a brace or cast shouldn’t interfere… or onsies that snap completely open
