In Infants Sizes, Is There A Difference Between 2t & 24 Months? Why R Some Clothes Are 2t & Some 24 Months?

yes.. there is a slight difference..
the “month” sizes go according to weight…
so the more the child weighs the bigger the clothing.. you can have a 18 month old in 24 month clothing
2T is for toddlers ages 2-3 years old depending on their size…
they are also cut differently..
its the same as adult clothes… and shoes..
a child age 11 can fit into a size one jeans in juniors, and also a size 14-16 in children’s.. but the cut is different depending on the shape of the body…
also the “month” sizes are for babies… you wouldnt find a onsie in size 2T.

A:            Yes, there is a difference. 2T is generally longer in the leg. But since it varies so much by brand, I buy either when my kids get into the 24 months size and then just save the stuff that is too big to use later.

A:               There really isnt a huge difference. 2T stands for size 2 toddler. 24 months is the stage before 2T in size. In some clothes length may be a difference.
