I made the mistake of buying a whole bunch of NB and 3 months clothes and my son grew out of them in a month. Don't bother with NB stuff just go straight into 3 months old clothes it will be big at first but they will grow into it. Also, just buy as you go don't buy too much ahead of time cause you don't know what they will be wearing in which season down the road. For example, my son is 7 months old and has been wearing 12 month old clothes since he was 6 months so alot of the stuff I bought went to Goodwill cause he can't wear it (they are summer clothes because that's when he would be a year old).
