  1. soft fruits (bananas, peeled apples etc), toast, biscuits, cooked vegetables, pieces of cheese (not too much). a baby can have anything really as long as it is not too hard as they’re saliva on the gums will soften the food so it’s easily chewable, even with just gums.

fruit is great and so are sticks of carrots and cucumber, there are some great recipes for toddlers and the rest of the family that you can just blend and give to baby. It can be so simple and you can freeze what ever you cook so you can cook a big batch and only have to cook a few time a week takes all the hassle out of trying to decide what to give

My daughter was a really good “gummer” she would mash her food up really well so I gave her all kinds of stuff to eat, but for beginners I would recommend small pieces of bananas, noodles, cooked chunks of potatoes, Those small puff cereal-like foods that Gerber makes are good (my kids loved the Apple-Strawberry flavor), anything that gets soft and falls apart in their mouth will work! Best of luck!

  4. Anything soft enough for her to gum up — which is just about anything.
    Fruits
    Cooked veggies
Crackers (they will soften in her mouth)
    cheerios (ditto)
    Cheese
    Eggs
Small bits of meat or fish
    Rice
    Potato
    Pasta

  5. Anything soft and can be swallowed easily even if not chewed. I personally would not give a child without teeth any finger foods. But if you choose to, make sure whatever you feed her won’t make her choke.
