Cheese slices, fresh fruit in small pieces, crackers, sliced hot dogs, macaroni and cheese. Realistically, all food is finger food for a good long time with a toddler. They put their hands in everything. But test it out at home to make sure the baby likes the food, and that the pieces are a size appropriate for little teeth to negotiate. As always offer a good mix of fruit and vegetables, little people need really good nutrition to grow. Good luck!

cut up baby carrats that are steamed soft, animal crackers, cut up hotdogs (cut them into small little triangles), cut up bologna, nothing too fancy, just things that can be kept in the refrigerator and are soft.

At our house, we will devote a some time every few weeks to cutting and cooking/steaming a variety of foods (organic carrots, broccoli, califlower, sweet potatoes, apples, asparugus) and freeze them in small tupperwares. Then, we will take one container out every few days and feed him those. He always loves all of them. the Sweet pot and apples, we dice and bake with cinnamen and olive oil(good source of fats). We heat in micro before serving. Other things he loves are whole wheat crackers, cheese, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, avocado, and banans. I also make these cookies: use baby cereal in place of flour and molasses in place of sugar. He loves those!
Just stay away from sugar and salt!

Any fruit in cubes or sticks they love. Apple (watch for choking) strawberries, mango, pear, blue berries, banana, anything – check whats in season and go from there. Cheese sticks. Little slices of ham, turkey or chicken. Steam veggies – broc, carrots, beans. I always melt a little cheese on it just to make it more appealing. I make for my 15 month old is chicken patties – chicken mince carrots zucchini(grated) and bread crumbs cook in oven or on fry pan – he loves it. Don’t be afraid to let them try to feed themselves with a spoon and fork (plastic). (abit messy but alot of fun – chuck down a splat mat under high chair and them go at it)
