Here are a few easy ones assuming no food allergies:
cubed cheese, lunch meat cut into little squares, watermelon cubed & seeds removed, banana slices, cooked green beans or peas cooled. Sweet potato fries ( home made is easy) waffles, whole wheat bread, or raisin toast cut into wedges.
This time goes fast & the little one will be through this stage fairly quickly. Now is the time to get the taste for good food going.

My son is about to turn 1 and he eats practically whatever I eat. If I am eating spaghetti, he eats it too just with his hands/fingers. He eats PB&J sandwiches cut up into small bites and he eats grilled cheese. I do keep chicken nuggets and tatter tots in the freezer just in case he can’t eat what I am having for dinner. Finger foods don’t have to be limited to ones that are less messy or easier for him/her to grab. You want your child to learn that we don’t get to eat chicken nuggets and fries everyday.
Also, I am big advocate of a balanced meal. My son always gets a starch, vegetable/fruit, and a meat for dinner – he doesn’t have to eat it all, but he does need to take a few bites of each.

You really don’t need any special recipes. She can eat whatever you guys are eating for meals. I do grill chicken once a week with red peppers and cut into strips and freeze so if we are eating something she doesn’t like, she can have that. I also make homemade mac and cheese w/ chicken and veggies that I freeze into individual portions. My daughter doesn’t like ground beef, so if we have hamburgers, taco’s etc, I can pull on of those from the freezer for her.
My daughter is 22 months, and has pretty much been eating what we eat since she was about 13 months old.

I make chicken tacos, and give my 19 month old just the chicken for him to pick up and eat. First I boil the chicken then shred it then add the seasoning and put it on a plate for him for some chopped up tomatoes and cheese. He loves it. My son eats cooked hamburger meat with cheese on it or with sticky rice. Sticky rice clumps together so they are able to pick it up in clumps and eat it. Anytime you cook for you and your husband make sure to cut your daughter some up, if it’s meat cut it up, if it’s macNcheese give it to her, she’ll love picking that up. Whatever you eat she’ll eat you just have to make it small enough for her to pick it up.

She is old enough to eat a fairly regular diet. My kids loved frozen peas and green beans. I would put them on their high chair trays while I was putting out the rest of the food and they would nibble. Otherwise, I fed my kids whatever I made for dinner, and started doing that from about a year of age. I might modify a bit to account for their age, but the were expected to choose from what I cooked. They are teens today and still grab frozen veggies if they are making a quick dinner for themselves.
