@sickdude197 Actually it is surprising how strong their suction is and it is kind of hard to take the bottle out by pulling. if you haven’t done it before than how could you know better than someone who has?

Thanks for the tips!! In the area that I work, The company who does the tree trimming sometimes knock the babies onto the ground and leave them to die.
It kills me to not be able to help them.

hello just found a baby bird not sure what kind but resembles a sparrow but already VERY big!!!! eyes not open but she wont eat how do i make her eat? and do they take water? it’s 100 degrees outside found on sidewalk people walking by and she would’ve died there i LOVE birds!!!! i want 2 keep her 4ever if i can!!!!
I found a baby sparrow that fell out of its nest a couple of days ago, but its mom was in the tree so I didn’t touch it cos my mom said she’ll take care of it. Do you think she will? I feel guilty for leaving it
a baby sparrow fell out of the nest and it is okay but iv been feeding it moth part it is hard to get down his/her throat ive fed em only 3 times today so far…shes about 3 to 4 days old.

i have a 5 day old sparrow and i have him/her in a straw easter basket with cotton and an old soft stocking to keep it warm. but he doesn’t peep and open his mouth any more iv had him/her for 3 days and it only opened its mouth like that the first day, now i have to peck at his little beak so he would open it all it does is sleep and poop any ideas please help

@zerounite Haha, thats very common in sparrows for the fact that adult sparrows try to get them used to flying and will dip them out of the nest to get them used to flying. The bird usually can usually fly about 10 feet at a time at 12 days old, however it takes another 2-3weeks if I’m not mistaken for the bird to actually live on its own and fly away from the nest. Nature is beautiful, eh? Thumbs up for others to see?
For a young bird(not baby ones), say a marsh tit, how often would you have to give them food? Do you have to go and give them food at night?
