You have to be 13 to be on YA at all. The Adolescent section is for questions about teenagers, but teenagers can ask questions about themselves, can’t they?
Answer by Dido
Minors between the age of 13 and 18 are allowed to ask questions on any part of this site. The adolescent section is under parenting and is therefor meant for questions about parenting teenagers, but teenagers are also allowed to ask questions there, and that is what typically happens.
