One meets its destiny on the road he takes to avoid it..Love the neighbor. But don‘t get caught.。!!Tips :The baby couture might be better replaced with convenient one-piece suits in practical white terry cloth.
Question–: HOME COOKED BABY FOOD OR SOLD BABY FOOD?
I have a 8months old baby,
I only feed her solid food like cow and gate dinners or Heinz or HIPP.
Because i only eat one solid meal a day, i deceived to buy her solid instead of preparing them myself.
is that ok?
i have never made any home cooked food to feed her so will it be a problem when the times come to feed her my own food, will she be choosy cos she is already used to the cow and gate solid and not mine?

The following is the answer: (Hint: The answer is not necessarily.)

Home cooked cos its healthier and u know wat is goin in to it

Answer by Josh H
get her used to your home cooking as early as possbile , its more nutritional aswell :) that way she wont be picky when she grows up

Answer by Kate P
I would make her food yourself. That way you know exactly what’s going in to it. It’s actually quite fun making up tiny meals! Try doing batches of whatever you’re making her; you can then freeze portions of it to use at a later date.

dont worry about it to much, the point is shes eating now!! thats important, just try to make her a few home cooked things a week maybe start off once or twice a week, cauliflower cheese is sooo easy, pasta stars with tinned tomatos and cheese…these are all simple and im sure she would love them. but just bare in mind one day you will have to prepare something yourself 3times a day for her,so you best start to learn :)

Home cooked pureed veges are definitely more healthy. Seens as your bub is already 8 months old you may find she will be a little fussy if you find that she is try mixing the bought food with the home made stuff gradually increasing the home cooked food until that’s all she’s having..

Good luck

I never fed Sophie baby food. For about a month I steamed veggies once a week, coarsely mashed them and froze cubes of it. Then I chucked the mashing idea and gave her small pieces to chew herself. Babies mash food with their gums, so the amount of teeth they have is irrelevant. Go ahead and offer her pieces of avocado, banana, peaches, blueberries, steamed veggies like carrots, green beans, sweet potatoes, etc. You can also add spices now; they are interesting and healthful! I enjoyed giving Sophie applesauce or pumpkin mixed with plain yogurt and a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Sophie ate chunks of steak and chicken at 9-10 months! Just watch your girl carefully. :)

Maybe start to introduce finger foods for her from home – such as Toast, Sandwiches (cut into strips) cheese strings, Organic Crisps (they’re big a chunky and melt in there mouth)

I gave my son bought food (HIPP organic) until he was 10 mos old.
But i regret doing so, i wish i hard prepared my own meals for him from around 7mos +
With my next child i will certainly cook home cooked meals from scratch from 7mos because i can make them highly nutritious too.
I kind of felt slightly like i was giving him processed food, rather than proper food (even though it wasn’t)

It is ok, but maybe start to introduce your own foods?

Welcome to my blog,In the blog: ask a toddler or educating a baby.
!!Reminded :It’s very easy to get sucked into the constant advertising of baby powders, creams, and lotions. But the best baby lotion is plain old olive oil—cheap, natural, and un-perfumed. As for other products, keep it as natural, organic, and fragrance-free as possible.
Question–: odd question but i tasted my daughters baby rice and it tasted REALLY sour?
Sorry I did this a few hours ago but I can’t get it out of my head and I am now worried….
About 4 hours ago I gave my 17 week old daughter her first solid food (cow and gate baby rice cereal) and she seemed to love it I did 1 part cereal to 10 parts my 3 day old expressed breast milk (which was safely stored in the back of the fridge in a milk bag) any way, I mixed it all together until it became a smooth paste and fed it to my daughter. (She loved it bless her and she didn’t seem too fussed by the taste but when I had a taste it tasted absolutely vile and really sour. So is baby rice cereal meant to be sour? It tasted of the scummy residue that you get when cooking rice (not that I go around eating scum lol) please help because i am really worried that I’ve given my daughter spoilt milk. Ps she seems ok and was more than happy to eat the cereal (ie not fussed that it tasted sour)
Many thanks

cant remember the exact taste of it when i gave it to my son but im pretty sure it wasnt nice as all babie food doesnt taste that nice .

Answer by Emma’s Mommy – 7 Months Old!
It doesn’t sound like your milk was spoiled.

Baby food has some absurd tastes… I gave my daughter rice cereal (I believe) and it tasted way to sweet for me, It was Nestle.

I make my own baby cereal. Grab some Oats (not quick oats) and blend it in the blender and then I just at some boiling water or breastmilk and mix some mushed banana, strawberry or apple in there and I think it tastes great and so does she!

Check out wholesomebabyfood.com it’s a great site. I’m not saying make all your baby food, but the oatmeal is SOOOO simple.

best of luck!

Answer by Sareena
Baby food is simple. It doesn’t appeal to us because we have matured taste buds.If she enjoys it, I wouldn’t worry much.If the milk was bad, she wouldn’t be feeling too good right now.

Answer by Krista
It probably is the weird taste of breast milk. I had a tiny bit of my breast milk (yes i’m a weirdo) and it tasted horrible and sour!

What do you think? Answer below!
