Should the sponsor stay and live in the US while parents are getting their green cards ?

Question: Should the sponsor stay and live in the US while parents are getting their green cards ?

Hello,

I am a US citizen but my parents are not(I had the citizenship after I was born in the US).

I am almost 20 years old living in the US, my parents are here too but they are under L1 and L2 visas( sponsorship, business visa ). When I’ll turn 21, my parents will be eligible for the green card(means they want to switch from visa to green card).. All their immigration requirements are met, the only problem, a few months after I turn 21, I will have to go to overseas because I want to work and live there.

Is it obligatory that the sponsor stays in the US untill his parents get the green card.

PS: Chances are I will come back to the US but after I have worked overseas for a few years.

Q&A: Can I give my parents a green card?

I’m currently 17 years old right now and I was born in the U.S. My parents don’t have a green card and I would really like to give them one. I know that the law a while back had changed to the legal age that I could give them one was 21 well one of my friends the other day said that she heard that it changed back to 18. I would really like to know if this is true and if you have any information on it?

Q&A: Do you ask or tell your toddler what to do?

Question: Do you ask or tell your toddler what to do?

I have learned that with my 17 month old I cannot ask her to do things because she won’t. So I began telling her what to do and she listens much better and then I say “thank you”. She does pretty well with this and it has worked well for us because she says “thank you” a lot now and listens much better than before.

Just wanted to know if this is what most parents do because it seems like I am so demanding when I say “give that to me” instead of “can I have that?”. Following it up with “thank you” softens it up a bit, but I never thought I would be the type of parent to boss my kids around like that!

Maybe over time when she gets older I can start asking instead of demanding? What is your experience with this?

You all answered with yes it annoys me when toddlers throw tantrums, it is unacceptable,. alright then geniuses tell me your magic way to make them stop, imagine you are smack in the middle of shopping, your trolley is almost full, and all of a sudden they ask for something, you say no, they start screaming and carrying on, What do you magicaly do to make them stop.
And ignoring them isnt an option because you have all said how inconsiderate it is to just let them go.
