Probably much less dangerous than the detergents they were last washed in that are notorious for causing allergic reactions. Not to mention all the horrible chemical residue left in lots of clothing from the manufacturing process (dyes and sizing etc.).
Yes it can~~even if you smoke outside your home, and you don’t smoke in your car!! The smoke is on you~~infants and children can smell this, it can also cause for them to go into a reaction, if allergic!!! You have to be very careful with babies, and children, they can always smell and find things we don’t know about!! But yes this can affect an infant!!
Hi There!
I would imagine so….they say second hand smoke is extremely harmful, and even if its on clothes infants have a very strong and heightened sense of smell. So If I were you I’d either try and stop smoking or get the person who is smoking to stop, and change clothes before you are around the infant. Hope this helps!
Not one of you can supply a link or data to support your claims? I”m sure it’s a good idea to keep the kids away from anything questionable but to what degree is the harm? To claim that simply smelling it on clothes from grandma is equal to 2nd hand smoke is most likely a stretch and bad advice unless you have data to back it up.
As far as you comment colorist about spelling…I don’t go around correct EVERYONES misinformation on science and health..so some of us may want some slack on spelling and the one class you passed in college…

Yes it’s like 2nd hand smoke
i believe so because the smell still lingers…therefore so is the smoke. and their lungs are still so young and vulnerable.
