My husband has hazel eyes and I have brown. Our eldest son has brown. It’s too early to tell what our twins have as they are only one month old.

I have green eyes and my husband has blue. My daughter (the older child) had blue eyes until she was three, and then they suddenly turned green! My son (11 months) still has blue eyes, but I predict they’ll change like his sister’s did.

My eyes are light brown, my husband’s are brown, and our baby has big ol’ blue eyes. My side of the family all has blue eyed, blond haired kids (I’m the freak for having darker eyes and hair), so I’m thinking that’s where it’s coming from.

My grandfather is hazel/green eyes, and my grandmother has brown eyes.

Most of their kids had hazel or brown eyes, but one kid managed to inherit blue eyes. Neat, huh?

I have light brown, my husband has Hazel. Our daughter has crystal blue eyes (same as my mom and brother), our son has med brown eyes.

Brown is dominate at 50% chance. Blue was listed as a 14% chance. And I don’t remember the % for green but I’m thinking it was in the low 30% range. I can’t remember the website, but theres a website for genetics that allows you to put your family lines eye color in, and gives you the % of what color you’r baby would have.

You might be able to find it on google if you wanna look.

It could go either way. I have brown eyes, my ex has blue. Our daughter ended up with blue eyes. My ex, however, has another older daughter, she ended up with brown eyes (her mom has brown eyes too).

Josh’s eyes are green and mine are blue… and they turned out to be blue… u never know… its comes down to which genes are more dominate in your child… sucks i know… but just think about the surprise when you find out color your childs eyes really are!

  1. My hispanic fiance has dark brown eyes and I have green eyes (I’m white). Our daughter has dark blue eyes.

My son’s father (white) also has dark brown eyes and our son has blue eyes too.

  2. Well I am pale with green eyes. My husband is dark with brown eyes. My kids have his colored eyes, and his skin tone but have more of my shaped face.

  3. Well, my husband and I both have brown eyes, and our sons came out with brown eyes.

But my parents, they both have brown eyes. I came out with brown, but my brother came out with blue eyes. Yes, he’s my dad’s kid, haha. But my grandpa has blue eyes, and it was recessive in my mom, but it became a dominant gene in my brother. Genetics are cool. xD

  4. Ask ur doctor he will tell u brown dominates all most of the time sometimes u get odd occurrences and the baby has an eye color that neither u or ur hubby have. I hope u get what ur looking for (eyes).

  5. I have green eyes, so does my husband. Our daughters eyes are hazel. They actualy change from blue to green and sometimes they are blue in the center with green around it. very pretty, I think usualy the brown is dominant tho. If I remember that correctly I learned that in science class long ago.

  6. Elyse's Mommy ♥

I have dark brown eyes and dad has green/hazel eyes. Elyse has blue/hazel eyes.

  7. Craig's wife, mom of 3

My husband and I both have brown eyes and our oldest daughter has very bright blue eyes and our youngest daughter’s eyes change colors. Some days they are really dark blue and some times they are grey and other times they are green.

  8. Genetics say the kids will have brown eyes unless one of your parents has green or blue eyes then the chances are only 25% that your kids will have light eyes. Brown eyes are dominant over all other colors so if both your parents have brown eyes, the child will have brown eyes because your eye color will dominate.

In high school my best friend had 8 bothers and sisters. Everyone in her family, even mom and dad had brown eyes, she was the only one with blue eyes. That was because she had a grandparent on both sides (mom’s and dad’s) that had blue eyes.

  9. My mothers eyes are dark brown, my dads are bluey/grey
    I have Hazel/Gold eyes
my younger sister has grey eyes

  10. I have green.
First husband had brown, our daughter has brown.
Second husband has blue, our 2 children have blue.
(I’m thinking I have recessive genes?)

  11. my mom has blue eyes (aqua looking) My dad has Hazel.
My brother has light brown almost hazel but they look more brown My sister has blue eyes lighter than my moms and i have green eyes so i don’t think theres a pattern in there.
and yes we are all from the same parents.
