Your boobs might sag a little because you got pregnant. When you’re pregnant, your boobs will grow to prepare for nursing. Even if you don’t nurse, your boobs will never be quite the same.

Breastfeeding doesn’t make them sag. After you’re done nursing, you might feel a little deflated, but as the months go by and the body starts putting fat inside your breast tissue, you’ll be closer to normal.

i do and they havnet .. nor have they got bigger.. age will make them sag but i am 33 and they havent.. wear a good bra with suppost all your life

Answer by Meesh
Once you got pregnant you signed on for the saggy boobs club. Though as a mom who nursed her first, and will nurse all others to follow, I know the benefits of a good supportive bra. If you help to keep your breasts supported during pregnancy and throughout your nursing experience, you will have less sagging than if you just let them hang free.

Answer by lucioliana
Breastfeeding will not make your boobs sag. What will make them sag is inadequate support. Wear a sleeping bra at night and wear well-fit bras throughout your life. Some sagging can’t be helped when you get older, especially if you have large breasts.

Make sure you go to breastfeeding classes or meetings in your area to learn about feeding your baby and resources you have in your area. Also make sure you don’t use bras with underwires while you are breastfeeding because they can plug your milk ducts and cause all sorts of problems. Bras that are stretchy and comfortable and are properly fit are wonderful and will help prevent your breasts from sagging.

That doesn’t mean you won’t ever sag. All women tend to have some sagging in older age.

Good luck! You can do it!

Breastfeeding your baby is not only very good for your baby..there is no documented research that says breastfeeding causes saggy breasts. Unless your planning on being a topless dancer it really doesn’t matter what they do. Having that ability and passing up on it because of not wanting saggy breasts will be something you will regret later in life. I understand you are young. I got pregnant with my son at 17 too and I didn’t breastfeed him because I felt the breasts where sexual. My son ended up getting sick with some unknown virus that attacked his spinal cord and now I always wonder If I had breastfed him..would his immune system been stronger to fight whatever that was away??

You should make the sacrafise and breastfeed. You’ll save a TON of money over buying formula! I have breastfed my other 3..in the process of doing it now. It’s a wonderful experience to have with your baby, and nothing else can replace it.

Hi i was 18 when i had my baby and i breast fed, my boobs did not sag and still now nearly 10 yrs later still are not saggy i also breastfed me second child in 2001.Breastfeeding is best for you and baby, It will help you to loose the baby fat you would of gained and its designed for your baby so is alot healthier. All i can say is if you wear the right bras you will be fine.Good luck and remember breast is best lol.

Answer by drie_tierney
No they will get larger though! Breast saginess is hereditary. If your mom had saggy boobs, you probably will too! I am a WIC peer breastfeeding counselor and I was also a mom at the age of 17. Alot of doctors take teen moms for granted. Make sure you get the birth you want and tell them firmly that your baby will be breastfed so don’t give him formula. Nurse him within the first hour after he is born. If you are eligable for WIC, get signed up and ask for a BF peer counselor. If you email me your mailing address I’d love to send you some information on breastfeeding. drie_tierney@yahoo.com

How old were you when you got pregnant or when you plan to? I’m 13 with a little girl 22 weeks gestation. I want to breastfeed her but with being in 8th grade, I don’t know if I can. Is it really necessary or can I just give her whole or skim milk? Also, any parenting tips and please help me out with this also:

You can’t give a baby any type of milk until they are at least a year old, because their bodies cannot digest it yet. You should go buy some formula if you decide not to breast feed, try the Similac advanced with iron you can get it in a powder or liquid. You should really go to a clinic and talk to someone about the questions you have, its scary being pregnant I got pregnant when I was 21 and it was so overwhelming to think about on my own.

You have confused how far along your imaginary pregnancy is; you’re suddenly two weeks further ahead, dear.

breastfeeding is really good for the baby because it can prevent a lot of diseases

Answer by whitecherrycrazy
well nothing has happened to me yet since im only 12 but i dont thinkk you should breast feed her yet. i think you should just give her formula. i watch my cousins alot and then one of them has a baby brother and she makes his milk for her mom the formula i think has all the vitamins needed. its only powder with warm water so its easy to make depeneding on how mch ur giving him or her is by how much water you put in the bottle and how many scoops of the formula like if its two cups of water i think its only 1 scoop so if ur uncomfortable with breastfeeding this might work the best

If you have the ability to make a child you can breastfeed no matter your age or breast size. Only 3% of moms can’t breastfeed so theres very few reasons you can’t. NEVER give a baby whole or skim milk, NO cows milk until atleast 12 months old. Its breastmilk or if you refuse to breastfeed like whats needed then atleast use formula. You need to find out if there are any parenting classes and breastfeeding classes offered in your area. Go to WIC they can help with classes and so can your local health department.

Answer by Jillian
you CAN NOT give her whole or skim milk. there is infant formula but breastfeeding is ideal and you can always do it- my friend was 15 and breastfed while in high school

you could always try it

!!Good advice :It’s very easy to get sucked into the constant advertising of baby powders, creams, and lotions. But the best baby lotion is plain old olive oil—cheap, natural, and un-perfumed. As for other products, keep it as natural, organic, and fragrance-free as possible.
