Q&A–: Baby Trend Phantom Jogger Stroller – which car seat?
I love the positive reviews for the Baby Trend Phantom Jogger Stroller, but am discouraged by the reviews for the Baby Trend Phantom Infant Car Seat. I am somewhat confused cos the Baby Trend Jogger Travel System has great reviews – I assumed it’s the stroller and car seat mentioned earlier, sold as a set. Either no one likes the car seat on its own, or I’m getting the strollers mixed up.
Looking for options for car seats for the Baby Trend Phantom Jogger Stroller stroller, I dont see any mention of compatible car seats for the stroller on the Baby Trend website. I don’t care if it is a Baby Trend car seat, it just needs to fit the stroller.
I’m so confused with the many strollers and car seats there are and want a set that’s affordable but wouldnt fall into pieces within months. My budget is 0 for both the car seat and the stroller.
Just wondering if any of you have the Baby Trend Phantom Jogger Stroller, and what car seat do you use with it. How do you like the stroller? What other car seat/stroller combo would you recommend if not this?

Personally, I think for that budget, its a great option.
The baby trend seats are known to be nice seats in the carseat world. They are affordable, and they’ve made some improvements in the last year or so. I read some of the reviews on target.com – frankly, I don’t put much into reviews online for carseats…. 9 out of 10 people have their seat installed incorrectly. So clearly, its harder to use a seat when its used incorrectly.

This is a good system: nttp://www.albeebaby.com/graco-quattro-tour-sport-travel-system-nectar.html and the seat goes up to 30lbs. The graco strollers are actually pretty good quality… they are just huge. But if I was in this pricerange, it’s probably what I’d end up with.
If you can go up just a bit – what I would recommend is the chicco system… it’s much more like a high end stroller/carseat then other mass produced strollers –

I’d say you’re headed the right direction with the baby trend. You an also buy a stroller and combine it with a carseat individually…

I don’t know too much about jogging strollers, I have a Jeep stroller and the thing is a beast. It’s small and lightweight, but it’s taken quite a beating in the year or so we’ve had it and it holds up amazingly well….still looks and works as if it were brand new.

I would get one that is also part of a travel system. So then if the baby falls asleep you just pick up the carrier and it fits right into a car seat base. I couldn’t have lived without it. We had the Chicco Keyfit, they make it in a reg 4 wheel stroller and the jogger. A great place to look is not only Babies R Us but, Buy buy baby if you have one in your area. Otherwise ordering online works great it you know the fabrics. So you still want to go into a store and check out brands so you know what their fabrics feel like.

i have my chicco stroller the light weight that clicks to the car seat..you can buy it in a set.

I would go to a babies r us store. Get an associoate to help you out snd then just find a stroller that is a nice jogging stroller, is very sturdy and has a high rating on it. You want something people love because then you know that more than likely this is a good product. I wouldn’t go cheap because it may look nice but it might not be comfortable and in fact might not withhold the jogging. I really liked the answer about getting the reaveling system. I loved mine. I did not get the jogging strolled but having a car seat stroller and base all in one was so helpful. If they already have a car seat you dont have to worry about this though. I know when I was at babies r us I seen a really nice jogging stroller it was black and red pricy but it was nice.

I have a BOB Revolution 12″ jogging stroller. The thing that’s great about this, is it has smaller wheels than most joggers, plus it has a wheel that can be fixed for jogging and can swivel for walking around town. It saves you from having to buy 2 strollers, and it does a great job in tight spaces. It’s super lightweight and practically pushes itself. The storage is great and my son seems pretty comfy. The only downfall I can see are the price (0) and that all the attachments are extra. I wouldn’t purchase any other stroller though!
Joggingstroller.com is a great resource for finding the perfect jogger. Be careful when choosing a jogging stroller. Many LOOK like a jogger (have 3 wheels) but when you read the details they say they’re not intended for jogging.
