we finally sat down for lunch (under an incredible dying tree) around 2pm… it didn’t last long however, as the wind seemingly picked up (who am I kidding? It’s the Gorge, it was "picked up" all day long!) as we ate. It was soon too cold to withstand much longer, so we headed back out onto our trek!
this was the first time I carted around my LaptopLunch without a worry in the world about keeping it upright. I just packed accordingly and wore the bag around my back!

this baby is such a cute baby! in this picture, she’s wrapped in my scarf and playing with jamie’s water bottle. we were at a doctor’s office, and i played with her in the hallway while doctor stuff was done. mostly her "playing" involved running up and down the hallway, saying hi to everyone she saw, and learning how to operate the water fountain.
indian food for supper (delicious). i popped into a cvs because i have a terrible cold (i am waiting for nyquil to kick in RIGHT NOW), and found chocolate turtles! i have been searching for them for weeks, and now that i’ve found them, i am so happy. but they taste weird because i have a cold. why is life so hard??
i just remembered that i have a little bit of a burrito left in the fridge, and i sort of want to eat it right now. but i should probably go to bed instead.

i have heard of people doing it and i think it is very disgusting. they are just lazy and don’t want to take the time to sit down and feed the baby the proper way. yuck!

i did it with my first child as she wasnt getting enuf from formula alone but was too young to eat yet. i put things in the formula like gel foods/apples etc or thickened formula with that baby cereal stuff that i cant think of the name of right now.

yeah defently heard of it. babies thats arnt quite ready to start on solids but need a little extra something to fill them. You can buy farax and put a spoonfull into their bottle, just to thicken it slightly. Or you can use it when trying to wean the bottles during the night. makes them fuller and less wanting a bottle during the night.
I did it a couple of time- worked fine, you just need to get a faster flowing teat.

It increases the risk of choking, it makes it hard work for the baby to get it out the teat so they expend more energy and may lose or stagnate with their weight and they don’t learn to ‘eat’ food, learning how their tongue and swallow etc is all supposed to work. Solids from 6 months, on a spoon, runny consistency to start….and its a fun time for both of u. Baby learns the social side of eating too….talking and laughing over a meal with mum.(or dad)..how much better could that get!!??

When we saw the price tag of this baby here, we thought we had gotten ourselves on a lucky day. But alas, the best has yet to come. I checked out the bottle, and IT WAS PAST ITS EXPIRY DATE.
No wonder it was so cheap. GAH. But it was alright la. Expected better, but drinkable. *grins* I saw some customers who liked it so much they bought a bottle home. *shrugs*

The spinach leaf dies look nice. That is definitely a good lunch to pack when you want to be able to swing the bag around without worrying about leakage.
I’ve never dropped a drink packet into liquid but I drop packets of Equal into my hot tea often. Have to fish it out and open a new one.
