great idea … they look soo cute

  4. yeah, i know what that feels like!! I’m just into making pillow case dresses for my LO, she’s 4. Only I find that I start out with cheaper stuff then get a bit addicted to it and then start spending more and more money on it!

  5. @mellejohn – I totally agree…. however I had to use what was available. I’m on a very tight budget which is why I’m trying to make older stuff “new” again. These colors were 80% off…. I only had to spend a little over $3 to be able to do this. I think it turned out nice considering what was available. Sometimes you just have to “make do”…. ya know. :)

  16. how cute, now you and the baby can match!

  17. Thanks :) I haven’t really started the nesting thing yet… I hope that comes soon. It’s so hard to get energy to do much of anything, but this project was fun and easy. Hopefully this week I’ll get that burst of energy to get all my last minute cleaning done. :) Yay… it’s close!

  18. You look like me in the final days of my pregnancy!!! Nesting Symdrome and you do all the things you know u wont have time to do for a while! So creative and cute though!! Love em!

  19. I’m glad ya liked it…. I’m anxious to do more now! :)

  20. Love them!!! Great idea to refresh and reuse older clothes! I LOVE tie-dye stuff! Inspiring video :)

  21. Thanks… it was the first time I’ve tried it and it turned out ok. But I’m anxious to do it again with some new techniques I’ve learned. :)

  22. I got the kits at Joanne Fabrics in their clearance section (I didn’t want to spend much so I was limited to the colors they had in that section) But I’m sure you can get kits at Michaels or any other craft store. I’ve even seen them at Target. Usually somewhere between $10-$20 for a kit. Oh and Ebay also. Some kits require pretreating in a Soda Ash solution and some don’t. Mine didn’t, so it was very easy. HAVE FUN!!

  23. Ok now I want to do this! Where did u buy the Tie Dye kit? I have a Michaels craft supply here. I might check there tomorrow while I am in the area after my doctors appointment.
