Question–: How do you dress baby for bed in the summer?
My son is 5 months old and it is starting to get warm. What do you dress your baby in for bed in the summer? I want to keep him warm (without a blanket) but not to hot.

Thanks
Thank you everyone you have been very helpful.

Answer by Leslie
light cotton one piece pj with snap buttons at the bottom

Answer by Lisa B
i would put him in just a sleeper and make sure the room is comfortable.

Answer by Erica Z
I put my son in onesies. I let him sleep with a sheet or we have some pretty big receiving blankets (thanks to my mom’s handy sewing work).

Answer by IMomma
In a short sleeved onsie/shirt with long pants, its the most comfy i think, she is 20 months and still wears that to bed some nights :)

Answer by Sunshine
I will probably use the pj’s that have a t shirt and pants, but my daughter is almost one. I’m not sure if they make them like that (EDIT) for younger babies. I used to put a thin sleeper on my daughter last summer, but we have air conditioning so it wasn’t really too hot inside the house. Hope this helps

I put my LO in a onesie with gloves

Answer by Brooklyn’s Mommy
I put brooklyn in a onsie to go to sleep with a light blanket over her.

Answer by RoWeDa
I usually put my baby in just a diaper. But sometimes I’ll put on a light pajama set on him (usually footless) or a onesie. They keep him cooler.

Answer by Alicia S
If the air conditioner is on leave the baby in a light cotton pj.

My sons doctor has told me in the past to just leave my son without socks because that is how the heat will escape.

My suggestion which I also do with my son is just light pj’s that have openings at the feet :)

Answer by mommy of one
I put my3 month old daughter in a onesie. She is like her mom she sweats durning the night if we dress her in long sleeve pj.
