Question: Baby coming???
With my first child i was 10 days late and had to be induced. This time though (due in 2 days) i have very sore pains down below, feels like baby is coming out for a few seconds!!! then it goes away!! What is this feeling??? Has baby moved down??? Educated answers only please x

sounds like your going to go into labour just if it gets worse go straight to the hospital good luck and congrats on bub

have you lost you mucas plug? with my last baby i didnt know i was in labor till lol it started to hurt and when it started to hurt i went to the hospital and i was dialated at 6.
and a contraction to me felt like my stomache got hard then not so hard no pain. but i think what you might be feeling right now is your baby has dropped in to your pelvic and that is the soreness you are feeling when my baby dropped it was uncomfortable and lol was very difficult to sit down,

Well Im only 14 weeks in my first pregnancy but Im looking things up for you.
It’s possible that it’s just be the baby pushing down on the nerves, but I’d speak to the doctor anyway just to make sure, if I were you. If youre due in 2 days, then its very possible that the baby has started to move down, so your membranes might start rupturting soon. The best thing to do for the pains right now would be to sit in labour postitions such as siting on a chair with the back of the chair at your chest or, if you have one, sit on a birthing ball.
Doctors have all night receptionists that answer all night, so you could call them and state your worries. If they think you should head to the hospital to be induced… then CONGRATS. If not, then try to relax and wait for baby!!

When my daughter dropped down I felt like the bottom of bu bump was sort of pointy and it was sore. My bump also went very hard at times. And I couldn’t feel her move so much. I was worried as I wasn’t yet 8mths and the midwife was worried too so I went to the hospital for a check up. To my surprise they kept me in 24hrs to keep an eye on me but I wasn’t dilated or anything. Whilst in hospital my mucus plug thingie happened (was like phlem when wiping and pinkish) but the nurse thought it was just caused by the doctor doing cervical checks. I went home and a few days later woke up with a whooosh as my waters broke! My D was born a full month early! I had no contractions until 10hrs or so later, after waters breaking.
The contractions for me started as a mild back ache that would spread with a flush of heat/ill feeling and then subside.
I would phone your maternity ward at the hospital and go in for a check up. If nothing else at least it will put your mind at ease!
