ask a toddler–: when does a baby become a toddler?
my son is 14 months old he was born 3 months premature so hes developmentally like am 11 month old. hes not walking yet. but do i still call him a toddler?? the reason i ask is because i asked a question yesterday and in the question i called my son a baby and alot of people answered my question but also told me he wasn’t a baby anymore. so do i call him my toddler now?? LOL sounds weird!

i always say toddlers are 12 months to about 3 years
as you son was premature i would still consider him as a baby .. but hes only got another month left of it . lol

I’ve always read that 0-12 months is infant and 12 months to 4 years is toddler.

Well they will always be our babies, even when they are 25.
I think somewhere between 15-18 months they become a toddler.
I think the reason why we hold on to the baby thing is because we don’t’ want them to grow up so fast. My baby will be one next month, and I am sooo not ready to call her a toddler. In fact I probable wont until she is more like two. I want to hold on to it as long as I can. She is walking and saying a few words now, but she is still my baby!
